WILLARD RAY GRANTHAM

Memorial services for Willard Ray Grantham, 55, of Marietta, Okla. are set from 2-3:30 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2009 at Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home Chapel in Marietta, Okla.

Mr. Grantham died June 22, 2009 at his residence in Marietta, Okla.

Survivors include his daughter, Amy Darnell of Marietta, Okla. and two brothers, Raymond “Buddy” Grantham and Wayne Grantham, both of Artesia, N.M.





SHARON LEE WAGGONER

Funeral services for Sharon Lee Waggoner, 69, of Gainesville are set for Friday July 3, 2009 at 10 a.m. in the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Chapel with Craig Waggoner officiating.

Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. Waggoner passed away on June 29, 2009 at her home with her husband by her side.

Sharon was born on July 3, 1939 in Colorado. She married Bill Waggoner on Feb. 14, 1959 and recently they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Sharon was an avid quilter and won many awards for her beautiful quilts. She was a member of the Common Threads Quilt Guild. She donated many quilts for local charities and events.

Sharon was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family and she was involved in every aspect of her children's lives growing up.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Waggoner of Gainesville; a son and daughter-in-law, George and Sheila Waggoner of Conroe; a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Louis Peter of Cedar Lane and grandchildren, Randall and Rachel Waggoner and Kay and Becky Peter.

Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Luchak and a sister, Julia Jerkins.

The family would like to thank the numerous caregivers who assisted her in her year long courageous battle with cancer. We would also like to thank her family and friends for their support.

Visitation will be held this evening, July 2, from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
