HAROLD K. FISCHER

AUSTIN — Funeral services for Harold K. Fischer, 80, of Austin, are set for 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Austin.

Burial will follow in Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville under the direction of Cook-Walden Funeral Home.

Mr. Fischer died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012.

He was born April 30, 1932, in Lincoln County, Kan.

Survivors include wife, Joan; children, Lori Fischer, Peggy Joseph and Rebecca Fischer; siblings, Roland Fischer, Janice Stover and Dennis Fischer; and five grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Austin, the American Parkinson Disease Association, Inc., or a Parkinson’s disease research organization of your choice.

“DEE” KOTULAN

CLOVER, S.C. — Graveside services for “Dee” Berdelia Rose Robinson Kotulan, 83, of Clover, S.C., are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Evan English officiating.

Mrs. Kotulan died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, S.C.

She was born Aug. 15, 1929, in Gainesville.

Survivors include children, Victoria Johnson of Oilville, Va., Shiree Kotulan of Clover, S.C., and William Kotulan of Alexandria, Va.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St. in Clover, S.C.

JOE MARSHALL

Funeral services for Joe Marshall, 74, of Gainesville, are set for 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frank Lorne officiating.  

Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.  

Mr. Marshall died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, in Gainesville.

He was born Jan. 27, 1938, in Gainesville.

Survivors include children, Gayleth Marshall-Laurence, Margret Kenney and Gary Marshall of Gainesville, LeAnn Marshall and Donna Brown of Fort Worth, Celestine Shavon Marshall and Deone Smith of Denison and Donald Marshall of Austin; siblings, Guy Miller of Gainesville and Jessie Curtis Hunt, Robert Wayne Hunt, Bobby Homles, Brenda Louis Ligon, Karen Denise Hoosier, Beverly Lynn Minor and Alma Faye Cartwrigh, all of Clarksville, Tenn.; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Visitation is set for 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at the funeral home.

JAMES MICHAEL SCHMITZ

MUENSTER — Funeral services for James Michael Schmitz, 58, of Muenster, are set for 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Muenster with the Rev. Ken Robinson officiating.

Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home in Muenster.

Mr. Schmitz died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at Seasons Hospice in Denton.

He was born Sept. 26, 1953, in Muenster.

Survivors include son, Andrew Schmitz; and siblings, Robert Allen Schmitz, Kenneth Schmitz and Jerome Schmitz.

A Rosary/vigil is set for 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at McCoy Funeral Home.





NINA McCOY WILSON

WIMBERLEY — Funeral services for Nina McCoy Wilson, 82, of Wimberley, are set for 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at First Christian Church in Gainesville with Reverend Mark Loewen officiating.  

Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Thomason Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wilson died Sept. 14, 2012, in Wimberley.

She was born Oct. 8, 1929, in Kansas.

Survivors include children, Leigh Stansberry, Laurie Sawyer and Leslie Weeks; brother, Harry McCoy of Gainesville; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
