Funeral services for Nannie Mary Idell, 79, of Gainesville, will be 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at Meador-Clement-Keel Chapel with the Rev. Duke Dowling, pastor of Southside Baptist Church and the Rev. Hubert Wright, Baptist minister, officiating.
Rev. Tony Norman will officiate when Mrs. Idell is interred at Callisburg Cemetery following the funeral service.
Grandsons Keith Thurman, Greg Thurman, Kevin Thurman, Jay Puckett, Jr., Aaron Puckett and Jeremy Clark will serve as pallbearers. Honorary bearers will be Ethan Thurman, Jason Clark and Danny Scivally.
Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Monday morning, Sept. 17, 2012, prior to the service.
Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary Idell passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at Pecan Tree Health and Rehab Center.
She was born Oct. 31, 1932, to Joe Jasper and Lucy Ruth (Crowsey) Cox in Collinsville.
Mary married Rufus Idell on June 3, 1954, in Gainesville. She was an employee of Weber Aircraft for more than 16 years and had also worked for Linda Jo Shoe Factory and a dress factory in Muenster. She loved working outside in her flower garden and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Idell was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
Nannie Mary Idell is survived by her husband, Rufus Idell of Gainesville; daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and Louis Hacker of Whitesboro and Wanda and Mike Thurman of Callisburg; sisters, Jessie Merle Hodge of Sherman and Eula Lee Johnson of Collinsville; brother, Jasper Cox of Denison; grandchildren, Christi Clark of Gainesville, Melody Links of Gainesville, Keith Thurman of Golden, Colo., Greg Thurman of Gainesville, Kevin Thurman of Callisburg, Susan Gibson of Little Elm, Jay Puckett, Jr., of Whitesboro and Aaron Puckett of Whitesboro; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Ruth Puckett; and a son, Billy Rufus Idell.
Services are under the direction of Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home.

A memorial service for Elizabeth Paclik, 93, of Gainesville is set for 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at Family Life Church, 905 Cloud St., Gainesville, with Pastor Larry Eberhart officiating under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
No visitation is planned.
Mrs. Paclik passed away Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at her home in Gainesville.
Elizabeth Paclik was born June 2, 1919 in Athens to Porter and Lizzie Morrison.
On Dec. 26, 1940, she married Dr. Charlie John “Doc” Paclik. They moved to Gainesville, his hometown, where Dr. Paclik set up his veterinarian clinic. Mrs. Paclik worked hand in hand with her husband to make a successful vet practice. Her family was important to her as well as her service to others. She lived as a caring example to both her friends and family and to those she ministered to in the nursing homes. She was a devoted grandmother and shared her love for fishing and reading with her four grandsons at an early age.
Survivors include son, Dr. Mike Paclik of Austin; daughter, Diane Paclik Dietz of Gainesville; daughter, Patricia Paclik Highfill of Denton; grandsons, Michael Paclik of Austin, Aaron and Zach Highfill of Denton and Jordan Dietz of Gainesville; and great-grandchildren, Penelope Elizabeth Paclik of Austin and Hezekiah Andrew Highfill of Denton. Survivors also include several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Charlie John Paclik, longtime veterinarian of Gainesville; parents, Porter and Lizzie Morrison; brother, Charles Morrison; and sister, Marjorie Murphy.
The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and entire staff at NTMC Home Health for the loving care given to Mrs. Paclik. They also would like to thank Solaris Hospice for their loving care, especially during her final days. We are very grateful to Barbara Newsom of Callisburg and Debra Rasdall of Gainesville for their love and support to Mrs. Paclik and her family.

BETTY JOAN KING
Funeral services for Betty Joan King, 71 are set for 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Saint Jo with the Rev. Jeff Roe officiating.
Burial will follow in Mountain Park Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Saint Jo.
Ms. King died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, in Corinth.
She was born on Jan. 5, 1941, at Illinois Bend in Montague County.
Survivors include her sister, Louise Hughes of Lake Kiowa.
Memorials may be made to the Illinois Bend Club.
