COLLINSVILLE – Funeral services for Wilbur Earl Haueter, 73, will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Marvin Lowry and Rev. Michael Daniels officiating. Interment will follow in Macomb Cemetery.
Wilbur died on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.

Cotton passed away Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at his home in Whitesboro.

DOROTHY LYNN CHILDRESS
VALLEY VIEW — Graveside services for Dorothy Lynn Childress, 63, of Valley View, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008 at Valley View Cemetery. The memorial service will immediately follow the graveside service at Valley View United Methodist Church with Rev. Scott Melton officiating.
Dorothy died Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at Denton Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by daughters, Rae Hackerof Valley View, Stefanie Bowden of Fort Worth; son, Jason Childress of Valley View; sisters, Mary Kelley of Seagoville, Barbara Nichols of Flower Mound, Betty Smith of Collinsville; brothers, Don Hardin of Eustace and Ken Hardin of Canton.
Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 22, 2008 from 6 – 8 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton.
Graveside services for Vern Covington, 87, of Gainesville are set for Monday, Dec. 22, 2008 at 1 p.m. at New Hope Cemetery with Rev. Luke Smith of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery. Services are under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Mr. Vern Covington died Dec. 19, 2008 at North Texas Medical Center.
He was born March 3, 1921 to Morton Scott and Bessie Bernice (Jones) Covington. He was retired from the U.S. Army, a member of Calvary Baptist Church and liked to square dance, fish and was an avid sports fan.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Covington; his sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Zona Covington of Woodbine and Tommy and Vikki Covington of Williamsburg, Colo.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded by his parents; brothers, Hubert Covington and William Covington and sister, Lucille Shirley.

LAKE KIOWA — Funeral Services for Billie Joyce (Foster) Perkins, 79, of Lake Kiowa, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, at Clement Keel Funeral Home.
Internment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville.
She is survived by children: daughters, Ginger Moenster (Jerry) Of Dittmer Mo., Janice Tellinghuisen (Doug) of Mesa, Ariz., Jody Huck (Dan) of Maryville, Ill.; son, Tim Perkins (Michal) of Tampa, Fla.; sisters: Dorothy Baskett of Lake Kiowa and Naomi Robinson of Burnett and brother, Ken Foster (Sherley) of Salado.
