SUZANNE SIGOURNEY LEONARD VIK
WICHITA FALLS—Funeral services for Suzanne Sigourney Leonard Vik, 92, of Wichita Falls are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at First Methodist Church of Gainesville with Rev. Don Yeager officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
Mrs. Vik died Thursday Dec. 19, 2013 in Wichita Falls.
She was born May 10, 1921 in Worcestor, Mass.
Survivors include children, Katherine Leonard of Cazenovia, N.Y., John A. Leonard of Wichita Falls, R. William (Billy) Leonard of Coppell; brother, Andrew Sigourney of Nahant, Mass.; and four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Midwestern State University women’s basketball team, Coppell YMCA Partners Campaign or to a charity or church of one’s choice.
WHITESBORO—A memorial service for Kenneth ‘Wesley’ Fails, of Whitesboro, is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Kremling and Chance Dodd officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
Wesley went home to be with our Lord on Friday, Dec. 20, 2013 in Dallas.
On March 24, 1998 Wesley was born in Gainesville.
He was a student at Whitesboro High School and a member of the football team. Of all Wesley’s passions, fishing was the greatest, along with hunting and camping at the lake.
Known to eat his weight in peanut M&Ms and anything sweet, he is responsible for the broken latch on Nanna’s cookie jar. Wesley’s latest hobby was his new car, where he would have eaten, showered, and slept if possible.
Wesley is remembered as a kind, helping hand who wanted nothing more than to please others. Never meeting a stranger, he was kind to all those he encountered. There is a special love in Wesley’s heart for his family and the time he spent with them.
As anything camouflage is Wesley’s absolute favorite, you are encouraged to wear yours to the service.
Survivors include parents, Holly and Bobby Russell, of Whitesboro; sisters, Faith and Kayce; grandparents, Tim “Pepaw” and Donna “Nanna” Day, and their child, Kenna, of Woodbine; grandparents, Tim and Paula Walke, of Calif.; great-grandparents, Kenneth and Juanita Snider, of Callisburg; Aunt Val and Uncle Matt Streit, and their children, Chance, Caleb, and Eli, of Collinsville; and many other beloved relatives.
Members of the Whitesboro High School football team will be serving as honorary pallbearers. They are encouraged to wear their jerseys.

FLORENCE SCHMITZ FISHER
Mass of Christian burial for Florence Schmitz Fisher, 98, of Muenster is set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Muenster.
A rosary/vigil is set for 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2013 at the McCoy Chapel in Muenster.
Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery officiated by Rev. Ken Robinson and directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Muenster.
Florence died Dec. 23, 2013 in Fort Worth.
GLORIA MAE BREEDLOVE
Graveside services for Gloria Mae Breedlove, 78, are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Collinsville under the direction of Meador Funeral Home.
Mrs. Breedlove died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013.
She was born Oct. 10, 1935.

MAMIE LOUELLA MORRIS NICHOLS
Funeral services for Mamie Louella Morris Nichols, 93, of Gainesville, are set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28 at Temple Baptist Church in Gainesville.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetey under the direction of Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Nichols died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013 in Gainesville.
She was born July 3, 1920 in Cooke County.
Survivors include children, Robert Nichols of Gainesville, Sammy Nichols of Gainesville, Sue Comer of Gainesville, Patsy Christie of Dallas and Jane Wagner of Sanger; 14 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.

MOUNT PLEASANT — Services for Ken Hall, 71, of Mount Pleasant are set for 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Chapel in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Mike Cline officiating.
Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Mount Pleasant.
Pallbearers are Jeff Spann, Dalton Simmons, Gavan Tinsley, Chris Hall, Brock Johnson, Alan Spann and Thomas Spann.
Mr. Hall was born Dec. 20, 1942 in Dallas.
He died Dec. 24, 2013 at his home in Mount Pleasant.
Mr. Hall was the truck foreman at H.E. Spann. He was the owner of RKH Transportation Co. and M&H Equipment Co.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years Sue Hall of Mount Pleasant; son, Rick Hall of Fort Worth, son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Paula Hall of San Francisco, Calif; daughter, Deanna Hall and friend Denise Bryant of Austin; grandchildren, Eavy, Demi and Lexi Hall of San Francisco, Calif; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Nicki Hall of Troop; brother-in-law, James and Melba Spann of Mount Pleasant; numerous nieces and nephews and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Patsy and Paul McGill of Watsonville, Calif.
Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Clark Wood; father, H. Richard Hall and step-father, Charlie Wood.
Visitation is planned for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013 at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home.
SANDRA JANE HOTT
Graveside services for Sandra Jane Hott, 73, of Gainesville will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 30 at New Hope Cemetery with Bro. David Carlson, Pastor of Harvest Time Church of God officiating.
Visitation will be at 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hott passed away Dec. 26, 2013 after a short illness.
Sandra was born on Feb. 24, 1940 in Gainesville to Lee Eaar Howard and Willie Berl Lane-Howard.
She married W.R. Hott on Feb. 17, 1960 in Ardmore, Okla. She was employed as an activity director of several nursing homes. She loved attending all of her sons' sports activities while ringing her cow bell to cheer them on. If you knew Sandy at all, you knew her love for Elvis Presley.
Sandra Hott is survived by sons, Tim Hott and wife, Pennye of Callisburg, Steve Hott and wife, Valerie of Ky., Randy Hott and girlfriend, Cheryl Sutton of Gainesville and David Hott and wife Stacie of Gainesville; grandchildren, Carrie, Ashley, Sandi, Leslie, Randi, Keaton, Savanah, Darsey, Jewell and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Harlen, Ashlynn, Ryan, James, Serenity and Dayton; niece, Janie Wheeldon and nephews, Larry and Mike Day.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ray Hott; sister, Danny Day; parents, Lee Earl Howard and Willie Beryl Lane-Howard; step-dad, Lloyd Litton Brundage; grandsons, Gregg and Creig; and great-grandson, Carter.
Services are under the direction of Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
