BRIDGEPORT — A graveside service for Pauline Dietz Talmage, 91, of
Bridgeport is scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Azleland
Memorial Park in Azle under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son
Funeral Home with the Rev. Dave Goodrich officiating.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012, at
Poolville United Methodist Church in Poolville.
Mrs. Talmage went to be with her Lord on Friday, April 27, 2012, in Azle.
Pauline, born May 1, 1920, in Gainesville, was the only child of
Arthur H. and Frieda Gess Dietz.
She grew up helping in the family bakery, Dietz Bakery. She attended
St. Mary’s Catholic School and graduated from Gainesville High School.
She proceeded to graduate from Texas Women’s University in Denton and
earned her master’s degree in foods and nutrition from the University
of Iowa.
Pauline was a dietitian for more than 50 years. She was dedicated to
serving her Lord and was an active member of Methodist churches in
Silver Creek in Azle, Tinney Chapel in Winnsboro, and, for the last 10
years, Poolville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Arthur ‘Curly’ Talmage of
Bridgeport; daughter, Nancy Foust and husband Robert of Azle; son, Tim
Talmage of Azle; stepson, Douglas Talmage and wife LuVerle of Azle;
grandchildren, Bo Fritts, Sara Fritts, Rey Talmage, Mitch Talmage and
Art Talmage; six great-grandchildren; and many cousins, friends, and
wonderful neighbors.
Mrs. Talmage was preceded in death by her parents.

ELIA RUTH MORRISON
Elia Ruth Morrison, 77, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, April
28, 2012, at Muenster Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 18, 1934, in Sivells Bend to Steven and Rosie
(Dugger) Croucher.
Mrs. Morrison had worked as a home health nurse. She loved to crochet
and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Funeral services for Elia Ruth Morrison will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May
2, at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Floyd Flowers
officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Taylor Dooley, Axel
Dooley, Kenny Eddows, Donnie Brackeen and Jeff Brackeen will serve as
pallbearers.
Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening, May 1, 2012, at the
funeral home.
Mrs. Morrison is survived by son, Hubert Roy Dooley, Jr., and wife
Stephanie of Gainesville; daughter, Angela Serna and husband Apolinar
of Anna; sisters, Pat Berry of Callisburg and Wilma Glass of
Arlington; grandchildren, Jeffrey Brackeen, Taryon Brackeen, Taylor
Dooley, Axel Dooley, Victoria Gray, Nikki Dooley, Daniella Rangle and
Tristan Mayo Dooley; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Steven and Rosie Croucher;
husbands, Hubert Roy Dooley, Sr. and Leebert Vernon Morrison;
daughter, Pam Brackeen; son, Steven Roy Dooley; and sisters, Ovella
Johnson and Alma Eddows.

HARRELL
NOCONA — Memorial services for Bessie Leah Harrell, 76, of Nocona, are
set for a later date.
Mrs. Harrell died Wednesday, April 25, 2012, in Nocona.
She was born July 22, 1935, in Capps Corner.
Survivors include children, Lisa Hogan and Katrina Hillard of Nocona
and Billy Harrell, Jr. of Savoy; siblings, Lee Hale and Mattie Dennis
of Gainesville and Archie Hale of Collinsville; five grandchildren;
and five great-grandchildren.
