BILLY JOE DANGELMAYR
MUENSTER — Funeral services for Billy Joe Dangelmayr, 69, of Muenster were at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010 at Sacred Heart Church in Muenster, with Fr. Ken Robinson officiating.
Burial followed in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the McCoy Funeral Home of Muenster.
Mr. Dangelmayr died on Nov. 22, 2010 at Muenter Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his spouse, Charlotte Dangelmayr of Muenster; children, Janet Bowman, Tom Dangelmayr and Shawn Dangelmayr; siblings, Betty Ann Flusche, Paul Dangelmayr and Joe Dangelmayr.
Vigil was at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church.
BILLY DAVID BRASWELL
Graveside services for Billy David Braswell, 50, of Gainesville are set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 at Fairview Cemetery.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Mr. Billy David Braswell died on Monday, Nov. 22, 2010 at his residence.
He was born Dec. 14, 1959 in Sherman to James Lee and Emma Eudora (Barron) Braswell Sr.
Mr. Braswell is survived by his son, Victor Braswell of Gainesville; brothers and sisters-in-law, James Lee and Becky Braswell Jr. of Colleyville and Jonathan Glenn and Judy Braswell Sr. of Monahans and sister and brother-in-law, Sharon Rebecca and Royce Davis of Carthage.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lee Braswell Sr. and Eudora Braswell.
Visitation is set from 9 to 10 a.m. before the services on Saturday, Nov. 27 at the Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
CLEBURNE — Funeral services for Leila Hazlett, 100, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010 in the Greenacres Memorial Park Mausoleum, with Chaplain Steve Durbin officiating.
There will be no visitation. Services are under the direction of the Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne.
Mrs. Hazlett passed away on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010 in Cleburne. She was born in Oglesby on Oct. 23, 1910, the daughter of Zilpha (Taylor) and John B. Denton. Leila was a sales clerk at Howell’s Department Store for many years and was a member of the Field Street Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sam B. Hazlett; two grandchildren; five sisters and three brothers.
Leila Hazlett is survived by her son, Gene Hazlett of Cedar Hill; daughters, Nadine Jones and husband Bill of Cleburne, Willene “Bunny” Anderson and husband Jim of Gainesville and Janey Johnson and husband Benny of Cleburne; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

HOWARD A. PORTER
SHERMAN — Funeral services for Howard A. Porter, 86, of Sherman are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010 at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville. Services are under the direction of the Meador Funeral Home.
Mr. Porter died on Nov. 21, 2010 in Sherman.
He was born on April 25, 1924 in Mitchell, S.D.
He is survived by his wife, Joan of Sherman; children, John H. Porter of Whitesboro, Ralph L. Porter of Gainesville, Jerri Duncan of Denton and Dennis Chisum of Valley View; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Opal Blanton, 98, of Gainesville went to be with her Lord on Nov. 22, 2010. Opal was born on Aug. 22, 1912 in Rosston to Sterling and Edna Durham Blanton. She attended school at Ross Point in Rosston and continued her education to become a beauty operator in Gainesville.
Opal married Grady Hill Blanton in Marietta, Okla. on July 12, 1937 and had one son, Grady Don. She was not only a homemaker, but enjoyed bowling, fishing, gardening and her many activities at the Calvary Baptist Church. As years passed by, she discovered another passion in her life was to refurbish furniture at the “Renew Shop” in downtown Gainesville.
Opal is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Joy Blanton of Gainesville; grandson and wife, Brian and Laura Blanton of Gainesville; great-granddaughter, Mikayla Dawn Blanton of GaInesville and Kristy and Todd Brown of Sanger and many nephews and nieces.
Opal is preceded in death by her husband, Grady Hill Blanton; parents, Sterling and Edna Durham; brother, R.B. Durham Sr. and sister, Gladys Balthrop.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010 at Fairview Cemetery, under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home. Luke Smith of Calvary Baptist Church will officiate.
There is no planned visitation.
Mema Blanton will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

GLENNA FAY (McGUIRE) BAILEY
Funeral services for Glenna Fay (McGuire) Bailey, 82, of Gainesville will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, with Rev. Doyle Henderson officiating.
Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Services are under the direction of the Meador Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bailey died on Monday, Nov. 22, 2010 at the North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville.
She was born on Nov. 13, 1928 in Hagerman.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by her daughters, Barbara Bailey of Altus, Okla., Sally Ferris of Littleton, Colo. and Tricia Gonzales of Altus, Okla.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, 2010 at the funeral home.

HAROLD DEAN BROWN
Memorial services for Harold Dean Brown, 67, of Gainesville will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 at the Family Life Church in Gainesville, with Pastor Larry Eberhart officiating. Services are under the direction of the Dalton and Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Brown died on Nov. 21, 2010.
He was born on Oct. 28, 1943 in Lawrence, Kan.
Funeral services for Joyce Malinowsky, 86, of Gainesville have been set for Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the Geo J. Carroll & Son Chapel with Ronnie Quaid and Mike Haverland officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Geo J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
Ms. Malinowsky died on Nov. 23, 2010.
