JIMMY W. HARRIS

MUENSTER — Funeral services for Jimmy W. Harris, 75, of Muenster are set for 10 a.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013, at McCoy Funeral Chapel in Muenster with William Daniel Knight officiating.

Mr. Harris died Saturday, March 23, 2013, at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

He was born Sept. 5, 1937, in Hardy.

Survivors include his brother, James Harris.

Arrangements are under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home in Muenster.



EDWIN D. “ED” HAYES

WHITESBORO — Funeral services for Edwin “Ed” Hayes, 84, are set for 10 a.m., Thursday, March 28, 2013, at the First Baptist Church in Whitesboro with Rev. Mike Flanagan officiating.  

Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro.  

Mr. Hayes died Sunday, March 24, 2013, in Sherman.

He was born June 30, 1928.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy Brown Hayes; children, Jane Belcher of Sherman; Luanne Moore of Montgomery and Susan Hall of Arlington; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

CLINT MERCER

Graveside memorial services for Clint Mercer, 88, of Gainesville, are set for 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the Fairview Cemetery pavilion.

Mr. Mercer died Monday, March 25, 2013.

He was born Feb. 10, 1925, in Walnut Bend.

Survivors include his wife, Merle, of Gainesville; and daughter, Sherre, of Gainesville.  

Visitation is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2013, at the Woodbine Baptist Church fellowship hall.

CLEO SMITH

LAKE KIOWA — Memorial services for Cleo Smith, 81, of Lake Kiowa, are set for 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Temple Baptist Church in Gainesville.

Mrs. Smith died Friday, March 22, 2013, in Denton.

She was born Aug. 31, 1931, in Bluff Dale.

Survivors include husband, Raymond Smith; children, Luke Smith, Penny Keith and Roger Smith; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
