JIM ARTHUR BEAN
WHITESBORO — Graveside services for Jim Arthur Bean, 90, of Whitesboro, will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2013, at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro with the Rev. Mike Flanagan officiating.
Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Jim passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, in Broomfield, Colo.
He was born on Nov. 28, 1922, in Dexter to James Arthur Bean and Mary (Derryberry) Bean.
Jim served in the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard the U.S.S. Conyngham. He married Mary Kemp on March 29, 1947, in Gainesville. Jim retired in 1981, as head of security for General Motors in Arlington. He was an avid golfer and loved to garden.
Survivors include a grandson, Bret McInnis and wife Kelly of Superior, Colo.; two great-grandsons, Kyle McInnis of Austin and Bo McInnis of Superior, Colo.; a sister, Frances Hargesheimer; a nephew, Jerry Turner; and a niece, Sharon DuBose.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Bean; a son, Michael J. McInnis; and his wife, Mary Bean.

THOMAS EDWARD CHASE
Funeral services for Thomas Edward Chase, 58, of Gainesville, are set for 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Victor Cruz officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Chase died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, in Gainesville.
He was born on May 1, 1955, in Washington, Pa.
Survivors include wife, Karla Chaquette “Kit” Chase; children, Isaac Chase, John Chase, Tanya McNair, Rachel Grace, Tammi Cagle and Andrea Williams; father, Harry Chase Jr.; siblings, Pete Chase, Phillip Chase, James Chase, Jennifer Gray and Sue Burch; and two grandchildren.
