FRED CLARENCE EHRIG

Fred Clarence Ehrig, 85, passed away on March 3, 2010 in Payson, Ariz. of natural causes. He was born Feb. 19, 1925 in Stockton, Calif.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and is survived by his wife, Dorothy M. Ehrig; children, Helena M. Loven of Cypress, Calif. and Annette Simmons of Queen Creek, Ariz.; grandchildren, Dennis Loven, Janette Loven, Jeremy Ehrig, Veronica Ehrig and Tanya Ehrig and great-grandchildren, Jule Loven and Onya Ehrig.

He is predeceased by his father and stepmother, Carl and Helen Ehrig; mother, Tish Williams; brother, Alvin Ehrig and son, Fred Ehrig Jr.

Fred graduated from Bell High School in California, was a Veteran of World War II U.S. Navy, worked at Weber Aircraft in California and Gainesville for a total of 41 years and enjoyed 4 x 4, fishing, camping and dune buggies.

Services will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Rainbow Chapel, Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, Calif.

LAKE KIOWA — Funeral arrangements for Winifred Alma “Winnie” Dodd, 84, of Lake Kiowa are pending with the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements for Ronnie Shaw, 56, of Gainesville are pending with the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.



R.D. CANNON

Funeral services for R. D. Cannon, 86, are set for Friday March 12, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with Ronnie Quade officiating.

Burial will follow in the Nocona Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening, March 11, from 6 to 7 p.m. Services are under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Cannon passed away on March 9, 2010 in Gainesville.

R.D. was born on Aug. 22, 1923 in Bulcher to John Guy and Minnie Lee Blakely Cannon. Mr. Cannon graduated from St. Jo High School and Cooke County College and worked for Halliburton Oil in many capacities including truck driving and working in the office. R.D. also was a member of the Commerce Street Church of Christ.

Mr. Cannon is survived by his nephew, James Cannon of Devine; nieces, Mary Lee and her husband Charles Hunter of Corinth, Patsy Ruth Clayton of Gainesville, Bobbie Gail Laird of Gainesville, Rose Tatum of Gainesville and Carol Ann Winchester of Lindsay and several great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wives, Peggy Jean Cannon and Kathryn McCallister Cannon; his sister, Opal E. Dennis, brothers, Ruel Ervin Cannon, Paul Cannon and Walter Cannon and nephews, Billie Joe Dennis and Paul Junior Cannon.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Commerce Street Church of Christ.

AUDREY NEWSOME

Graveside services for Audrey Newsome, 86, of Thackerville, Okla. will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 12, 2010 in Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta, Okla., under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Marietta.

Audrey Newsome died Monday, March 8, 2010 in Lake Country Nursing Center in Marietta..

Survivors include sons, Jimmie Don Hughes and Kenneth Hughes of Gainesville and Charles Newsome of Thackerville.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. this evening at Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home.

DAKOTA LYNN KINCADE

Graveside services for Dakota Lynn Kincade, 3 mos., of Whitesboro have been set for 10 a.m. on Friday, March 12, 2010 at Fairview Cemetery Pavilion, under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, with Travis Alford officiating.

Dakota died Sunday, March 7, 2010 at home.

Dakota is survived by his mother, Kandy Lynn Hammer of Gainesville; father, Billy Kincade of Gainesville; brother, Lazarus Kincade of Gainesville; sister, Ciara Marie Hammer of Gainesville and grandparents, Carroll Don and Darla Baker of Gainesville, Jaquana and Haymond Jackson of Tyler and Rick Hammer of Whitesboro.

Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening, March 11, 2010 at the Funeral Home.
