GERALDINE BREWER

Geraldine Brewer, age 89, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, in Monahans.

She was born Jan. 14, 1923, in Ringgold to the late Agusta and Mabel (Evans) Travis.  

She married Charles Brewer in Hawley on Dec. 7, 1940.  He preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 1980.  She was Baptist.

Geraldine went to nursing school in Kermit and worked all over as an LVN, (including working with a Dallas Cowboy doctor). Coming full circle, she retired in Kermit.  She enjoyed painting and crocheting and was a big supporter of the Dallas Cowboys and Atlanta Braves baseball.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Charles Lynn “Shorty” Brewer and wife Jan of Wink and Mike Brewer and wife Sue of Hobbs, N.M.; daughter, Gerry Wolf of Wink; two sisters, Beryle Jo Wheeler of Midland and Doris Jean Light of Wichita Falls; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two grandsons, Joe and Arthur Ray.

Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Fairview City Cemetery in Gainesville.

Arrangements are entrusted to Family Services Funeral Parlor of Kermit.

NANCY JANE WEST

MOSS LAKE — Memorial services for Nancy Jane West, 55, of Moss Lake, are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, in the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Chapel with the Rev. Roslyn Euster officating.

Nancy passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at her home.

Nancy was born on May 16, 1957, in East St. Louis, Ill. to Robert Lee and Patsy Frank Davis. She was employed in retail.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Vincent “Sam” West; daughter, Savannah Nicole West; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Gene Baugh; sister, Traci Davis; brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Paula Jodun Jr.; brother, Austin Davis; father and mother-in-law, Robert Lee and Carol Davis; nephews and spouses, Christopher and Patti Baugh, Joshua and Amelia Baugh, Matthew and Shelby Baugh, Glenn Jodun III and Paul Jodun; and great nephews, Zachery Pierce, Zane Pierce, Tyler Baugh, Zachary Baugh and Brock Baugh.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Frank Jodun; stepfather, Glenn Jodun; and her grandparents.

EARNESTENE BRYANT

Funeral services for Earnestene Bryant, 77, are set for 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at First Baptist Church Valley View with the Rev. Glenn Kersey officiating.  

Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery under the direction of Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bryant died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Whitesboro Health and Rehab Center.  

She was born March 26, 1935, in Marietta, Okla.   

Survivors include children, Larry Douglas and Donald Ray of Valley View, Jimmy Bryant of Forestburg and Lana Sue Wolf of Woodbine; brother, Carl Wayne Brewer of Elgin, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

MINNA FAYE COOK

SAINT JO — Funeral services for Minna Faye Cook, 87, of Saint Jo are set for 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Coleman and the Rev. Larry Kruger officiating.

Burial will follow in Mountain Park Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cook died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at Advanced Rehabilitation and Healthcare of Bowie.

She was born Oct. 8, 1925, in Muenster.

Survivors include daughter, Dayle Cullum of Alvord; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

JAMES WARNER GERMANY

Graveside services for James Warner Germany, 61, of Gainesville, are set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Nocona Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Germany died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, in Gainesville.  

He was born April 13, 1951, in Nocona.

Survivors include children, Angela D. Germany Mason of Marietta, Okla., and James Thomas Germany of Charlevoix, Mich.; and six grandchildren.

JUNE MABRY

WHITESBORO — Funeral services for June Mabry, 77, of Whitesboro, are set for 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Meador-Clement-Keel Chapel with the Rev. Carl Bilderback officiating.

Mrs. Mabry died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Texas Health Presbyterian, WNJ Hospital in Sherman.  

She was born Oct. 26, 1935, in Gainesville.

Survivors include children, Dennis Mabry and Shelah Bean of Whitesboro, Debbie Kerr of Southmayd, Kevin Breeden of Wichita Falls and Bryce Breeden of Oak Ridge; siblings, Eurshlee Moser, Raudine Womacks and Gayle Moser of Gainesville; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

SHASTA CARTWRIGHT TRISLER

Mrs. Trisler died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, in Arlington.

She was born Aug. 23, 1923, in Wright City, Okla.

Survivors include children, Louis Cartwright of Sherman, Pam Gist of Wilton, Ark., and Karen Forguson of Arlington; siblings, Patsy Tong, of Foreman, Ark., and Bill Reed of Alabama; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

LILLIE INEZ WILLIAMS

WHITESBORO — Funeral services for Lillie Inez Williams, 87, of Whitesboro, are set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with the Rev. Sam Redfearn officiating.

Mrs. Williams died Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at Texoma Medical Center.

She was born June 26, 1925, in Pilot Point.

Survivors include children, Craig Williams of Denison, Margie Richardson of Atoka, Okla., and Carolyn Cranford of Pottsboro; sister, Francis Moses of Olton; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation is set for 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at the funeral home.
