PEGGY JANE WHITEHEAD
Funeral services for Gainesville resident Peggy Jane Whitehead, 79, are set for 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Meador-Clement-Keel Chapel with the Rev. Steve Trout officiating.
Steve Lance, Glenn Lance, Steve Odom, Zach McGuire, Tynan McGuire and Buddy Edwards will serve as pallbearers.
Burial will follow in New Resthaven Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday evening, Jan. 13, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Whitehead passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, in Gainesville.
Peggy was born in Charlevoix, Mich., to Curt and Fern (Hutton) Roberts on June 5, 1933.
She had worked for 25 years as a nurses' aide at Gainesville Memorial Hospital.
Peggy Whitehead is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Julia McGuire of Austin; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Ricky Odom of Whitesboro; sisters, June Fredyl of Detroit, Mich., Mary Whitehead and husband Glenn of Denison, Ruthie Beaubien of Gainesville and Judy Roberts of Dallas; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Carroll Whitehead.
Services are under the direction of Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home.

LORETTA ALEXANDER
Funeral services for Loretta Alexander, 94, who passed away on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at age 94, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at the Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville with burial to follow in Era Cemetery.
She was born near Graham on Feb. 26, 1918, to John and Breckie Ellen Couger.
She had six brothers, including Gene, John Vernon, Leroy, Frank, Bill and Rupert. Loretta graduated from Graham High School. She worked during World War II for Standard Oil, and was active in the Business and Professional Women’s Club in Gainesville.
In 1948, Loretta married Max Kenneth Alexander of Era, a decorated veteran of World War II, who preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 2001. Loretta and Kenneth were engaged in farming and ranching in the Era community for many years where both were involved in civic and community affairs including the Era Community Club and the Era Methodist Church.
In recent years, Loretta has resided in Wheeler House in Gainesville and the Willow Bend Assisted Care Community in Denton.
She is survived by sisters-in-law, Helen Roberson of Denton, Reba Handwerk of Amelia, Va., Jane Alexander of Valley View and Mary Alexander of Gainesville; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Alex Willamson, Russell Hagg, Charles Allbright, Rodney Alexander, John Alexander and Jason Alexander.

DALLAS — Memorial services for Angela Herminia Garcia Antonetti, 85, of Dallas, are set for 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home in Irving.
Mrs. Antonetti died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013.
She was born Aug. 2, 1927, in Camaguey, Cuba.
Survivors include husband, Dr. Alfredo Antonetti; children, Alfredo, Gregory and Emilio; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

MUENSTER — Funeral services for Vincent “Doc” Reinart, 88, of Muenster, are set for 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Ken Robinson officiating.
Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home in Muenster.
Mr. Reinart died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Muenster Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 3, 1924, in Lindsay.
Survivors include wife, Lillian Florence (Billie) Reinart of Muenster; children, Cheryl Felderhoff and Doug Otto; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A rosary/vigil are set for 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at McCoy Funeral Home.

DAVID JOE VanHOOZEN
Graveside services for David Joe VanHoozen, 56, are set for 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville under the direction of Chism-Smith Funeral Home in Irving.
Mr. VanHoozen died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013.
He was born April 7, 1956.
Survivors include wife, Natividad VanHoozen; children, Millie VanHoozen and Jason VanHoozen; and siblings, Judy Conner, Neva Noggler, Shirley Sinclair, Joyce Banks, Roy VanHoozen, Robert VanHoozen and James VanHoozen.
