VIRGIL G. SEARS

LAKE KIOWA — Funeral services for Virgil G. Sears of Lake Kiowa are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at Whaley United Methodist Church in Gainesville.

A graveside service will follow in Merkel under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Sears died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, in Lake Kiowa.

Survivors include his wife Anna Jo, of Lake Kiowa; children, Dr. Glenn Sears of Denton, Dr. Larry Sears of Gainesville and Vicki Adsit of Lake Kiowa; brother, Dick Sears of Colorado; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

ARINDIA BLANKENSHIP KILE

Funeral services for Arindia Blankenship Kile, 91, of Gainesville, are set for 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. Kile died Aug. 10, 2012, in Gainesville.

She was born on July 26, 1921, in Leonard.

Survivors include her children, Equita McElvain of Gainesville, James McDonnell of Joshua and Clifton McDonnell of Fort Worth; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

REVEREND TED HEERS

FAIRFIELD — A memorial service for The Rev. Theodore Alfred Heers, 85, of Fairfield, is set for 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at Christ Episcopal Church in Tyler with the Rev. David Luckenbach officiating with the Rev. Stephen Stine.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lake Shore Funeral Home in Waco.

Mr. Heers died Aug. 8, 2012, at Providence Health Center of Waco.

He was born July 30, 1927, in Wellsville, N.Y..

Survivors include children, Katherine Garrett of Georgetown, Margaret Wood of Denver, Colo., Stephen Heers from Fairfield and Ted Heers, Jr., of Lake Kiowa; siblings, Eric and Gretchen; and 13 grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the memorial fund of Christ Episcopal Church, 118 S. Bois d’Arc, Tyler, TX 75702.

TRAVIS LYNN BUDLONG

AUSTIN — Funeral services for Travis Lynn Budlong, 89, of Austin, formerly of Gainesville, are set for 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at Riverbend Church in Austin.

Mr. Budlong died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012.

He was born Sept. 9, 1922, in Gainesville.

Survivors include children, Ann Schneider of Austin, Travis Jefferson Budlong of Spring Branch; sister, Anita Allen of El Cajon, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Thomas D.C. Rolston, 67, of Gainesville, are set for 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville with family members and friends officiating.
