SYDNEY KATZ FARRIS
DENTON — Sydney Katz Farris, 83, of Denton, passed away on Dec. 13, 2012.
She was born on July 3, 1929, in Bristow, Okla., to Sigmund and Elizabeth Katz.
She married Billie R. Farris on Oct. 18, 1952.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father.
She is survived by her husband, Billie R. Farris; son, Tommy Farris and wife Peggy of Denton; daughter, Linda Bradshaw of Midland; daughter, Kathy Miller and husband Steve of Yukon, Okla.; grandchildren, Nolan Bradshaw, Bret Farris and wife, Ashley, Courtney Brown and husband Rob, Troy Farris and wife Holly, Michelle Bradshaw, Chelsea Wyckoff and husband David; great-grandchildren, Carter, Sam, Ben, Tucker and Nora; she is also survived by her sister, Patty Jean Hager of Tulsa, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews; brothers in-law; and a sister-in-law.
A private family graveside service will be held on Monday morning, Dec. 17, 2012, and a memorial service will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors at 2 p.m. that afternoon.
She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed reading, knitting, traveling and genealogy.
