Hazel passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013, in North Richland Hills.
Hazel was born on Oct. 30, 1928, in Gainesville to C.R. and Lillie Moutray Gess.
She was a graduate of Gainesville High School and graduated from TWU in 1950, with a degree in library science. Hazel married Harvey D. Arnold Jr. on March 20, 1954, in Fort Worth. Hazel worked in the library at Convair which later became General Dynamics, and moved back to Gainesville in 1986, retiring from working in the law library of Creighton University in Omaha, Neb.
Hazel is survived by a sister, Joyce Marie Simmons of Watauga; and several nieces and nephews.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey Arnold Jr.; and a sister, Doris McLerran.

CAROLYN SUE (OLDHAM) HARTMAN
MARIETTA, OKLA. — Services for Carolyn Sue (Oldham) Hartman of Marietta, Okla., are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013, in Marietta’s First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Turner and Rev. Lawrence Anderson officiating.
Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta, Okla., under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Marietta, Okla.
Born June 15, 1950, in Fort Worth, the daughter of Otis Lacey Oldham and Lois Pauline Treadwell Oldham, she passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013, in Parkland Hospital in Dallas at the age of 62.
A resident of Love County most of her life, Carolyn was employed as a bingo paper audit clerk at WinStar World Casino. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s activities, going to garage sales, Facebook and meeting Regina and Brett at LaRoca Restaurant at 11 a.m. on Fridays. Carolyn will be remembered as a very social person who enjoyed being with family and friends. She was a member of All Faiths Christian Church in Marietta, Okla.
Preceding her in death were her parents; stepfather, Clinton Reynolds; grandmother, Dovie Treadwell; and cousin, Charles Treadwell.
She is survived by two daughters, Regina Gibbs McGill and husband Chuck and Ashley Hartman Hilburn and husband Scottie, all of Marietta, Okla.; two stepbrothers, Paul Reynolds and wife Carol of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Don Reynolds and wife Karen of Mesquite; and seven grandchildren, Britney, Brett, Madison, Gentry, Brooklin, Levi and Bailee.
Serving as bearers will be Dusty Newsom, Brett Willis, Lance Christie, Levi Hartman, Kevin Ballard and Curtis Gibbs. Honorary bearers are granddaughters, Britney Willis, Brooklin Willis, Bailee Gray, Madison McGill and Gentry McGill.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2013, at Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home.

She was born June 7, 1943, in Muenster.
