VALLEY VIEW — Funeral services for Lois A. Brown, 70, of Valley View, are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Harvey St. Baptist Church with the Rev. Jordan Johnson officiating.  

Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery.  

A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at the church.

Lois passed away Monday, May 13, 2013, at her residence.

Mrs. Brown was born May 30, 1942, in Gainesville to E.J. and Lela Faye Jones.  

She was a graduate of Callisburg High School.  She worked for Linda Jo Shoe Factory for many years, and later was employed by Quality Home Health Services until her own health began to fail. She was also a member of Harvey Street Baptist Church.

Lois is survived by her husband of 45 years, Lannie Brown of Valley View; daughters, Jennifer, Andrea, Teresa, Aimee and Holli; sons, Brian, Charles and John; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers Wayne, Kenneth, Jim and Perry Jones; and sister-in-law, Pauline Jones.

Pallbearers will be Brian Brown, Charles Brown, Kerry Johnson, Jerry Neighbors, Curtis Holland and Danny Nichols.

Funeral services for Mildred Inez Cooley, 90, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Shaver officiating.   

Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery.  

Jackie Miller, Earl Brinkley, Jim Hobbs, Steve Murray, Clair Barnes and Matt Maiden will be pallbearers.  

Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at the funeral home.  

Mrs. Cooley passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Pecan Tree Health and Rehab Center in Gainesville.

Mildred was born Sept, 12, 1922, in Mountain Springs, the daughter of Jim T. and Bessie Lee (Gooch) Cooley.

She attended school in Mountain Springs. On Feb. 11, 1946, she married Mickey Cooley in Denton. Mildred was a homemaker and had worked as a beautician.  She loved fishing, traveling, camping and dancing.  Mrs. Cooley was a member of the Mountain Springs Community Club, the Texas Chapter of the 2nd Marine Association and was a charter member of Pioneer Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Willard “Kent” and Kathy Cooley of Valley View; and granddaughters, Wendy Cooley-Leonard of San Antonio and Stormie Cooley of Denton.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and an infant daughter.

A family memorial service for Rodney Leeper, 58, of Gainesville will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Northlake.

Rodney passed away on Friday, May 3, 2013, in Gainesville.

Rodney was born on Dec. 1, 1954, in Gainesville to Louis Earl and Willadeen Crow Leeper.

Rodney is survived by three sons, Ryan Leeper and his fiance Lyndsey Schwartz, Jordan Leeper and Justin Leeper and his wife Megan; grandson, Emerson Leeper; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation for Linda Diane Glenn, 65, of Gainesville, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Ms. Glenn was born April 12, 1948, in Gainesville to J.W. and Louise Glenn.  

She passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013, in Gainesville.

Ms. Glenn is survived by daughter, Diane Lowry and husband Jeff of Gainesville; son, Joey Serna and wife Katherine of Marietta, Okla.; son, Anthony Leon Tullos and girlfriend Christy of Gainesville; grandchildren, Krista, Brandon, Kristina, Miranda, Joseph, Isaac, Charisma, Kayla, Lauren and Stevie; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Jeannie James and husband Harold; sister, Judy Glenn; sister, Cindy Hollar; sister, Patsy Serna; brother, Johnnie Glenn and wife Delores; brother, Bobby Glenn; brother, Kenny Glenn; and brother, David Glenn and wife Rhonda.

Ms. Glenn was preceded in death by her parents and son, Shannon Ray Tullos.

Ms. Glenn treasured the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.  One of her favorite pastimes was watching scary movies.

WHITESBORO — Funeral services for Jean A. Gillespie, 81, of Whitesboro, were Sunday, May 12, 2013, at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with the Rev. Sam Redfern officiating.

Burial followed the service at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro under the direction of Meador Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gillespie died Saturday, May 11, 2013, in Sherman.

She was born on Nov. 15, 1931, in Collinsville.

Survivors include daughter, Pam Gillespie of Whitesboro; sisters, Betty Marshall of Gordonville and Nell Hall of Overland Park, Kan.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

SADLER — Funeral services for Erma Ray Reeves, 79, of Sadler, are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Faith Baptist Church in Gordonville with the Rev. Jim Hardwick and the Rev. Jerry Henry officiating.  

Burial will follow in Gordonville Cemetery under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.

Mrs. Reeves died Saturday, May 11, 2013, in Sadler.

She was born on Nov. 11, 1933, in Pampa.

Survivors include children, Barbara Holcomb, Mike Reeves, John Reeves and Dan Reeves, all of Sadler, Jane Simmons of Bailey and Wanda Jacobs of Denison; siblings, June, Johnny, Bob, Beth and Chuck; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at Faith Baptist Church in Gordonville.
