Funeral mass for Helen Marie Jones, 79, of Gainesville, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Fr. Victor Cruz officiating.
Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.
A rosary will be recited, with a visitation to follow, at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
Helen passed away at her residence on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013.
Ms. Jones was born in Lindsay on Nov. 7, 1933, to Theodore and Agnes Hermes Neu.
Helen was a devout member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed 46 years of employment at First State Bank until retiring to spend more time with family and friends.
Ms. Jones is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Angie Jones of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Scott Twesme of McKinney; grandchildren, Christi and her husband Lloyd Hansard of Gainesville, Kayla Smith of Gainesville, Carlie Jones of Gainesville and Jackson, Kate, and Kingston Twesme of McKinney. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Jeanne Hoenig, Patsy Rohmer, Stella Stinnett, Shirley Dorsch, David Neu, Donna Boschert, Dennis Neu and sister-in-law Clara Mae Taylor.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Michael Neu; sister. Carol Neu; and nephews, Bobby Hoenig, Jeff Neu and Brad Neu.

NELL AUGUSTA COLEMAN McCARLEY
Nell Augusta Coleman McCarley, 76, died Saturday. Oct. 12, 2013, in Gainesville.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at United Methodist Church in White Deer with the Rev. Dr. Jerry R. Lane, pastor, officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.
Mrs. McCarley was born Sept. 19, 1937 in Ingram.
She married Bill McCarley in August of 1955. She graduated from West Texas State University with a Master’s degree in education in 1980. Augusta was a teacher for 35 years, serving children in Hereford ISD and Gainesville ISD, retiring in 1995. She served as past president and member of Delta Kappa Gamma sorority for many years. She was a Methodist. Augusta enjoyed extensive genealogy work and embroidery.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Mae McCarley; a sister, Jerry Clark; and her father, Everett Coleman.
Survivors include her husband, Bill McCarley of Gainesville; two daughters, Dianna Roberts and husband Glen of Allen and Deborah Parsley and husband Dane of White Deer; her mother, Dorothy Coleman of Pampa; her brother, James Coleman and wife Barbara of Shamrock; six grandchildren, Brett Bayless, Whitley Bayless, Andrew Parsley, AnnaLisa Chamberlin and husband Jered and Ashley Parsley and Angela Parsley; and two great-grandchildren, Kadey Chamberlin and Jeremy Chamberlin.
Memorials may be made to the Home Hospice of Cooke County, 316 S. Chestnut St., Gainesville, Texas 76240.

COLETTE VAUNELL WESSON
Graveside services for Colette Vaunell Wesson, infant daughter of Scott and Samantha Wesson, are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at the Fairview Cemetery pavilion.
Baby Colette was born Sept. 16, 2013, in Plano, and passed away Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2013, at her home in Dallas.
During Baby Colette’s brief time with us she was showered with love, hugs, and kisses from her parents, sister, and all that cared for her. Daddy’s little letty-bear and Mommy’s little punk rocker touched all of our lives in a way that words cannot describe.
She is loved and survived by her parents, Scott and Samantha Wesson of Dallas; siblings, Bryanna Wesson of Dallas and Damien Wesson of Myra; grandparents, Shawn and Charlotte Vincent of Gainesville and David Eddowes of Myra; aunts and uncles, Bridget Eddowes, Clint and TIffany Britain, and Jamie Vincent, all of Gainesville; cousins, Alexia Britain, Sydney and Landon Ponce, and Jaron Eddowes, all of Gainesville; and other family and friends.
