JERRY L. SPRINGS
FORT WORTH -- Jerry L. Springs, 72, affectionately known as “Poppy,” passed away Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at his residence with his loving family by his side.
Funeral services are set for 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, in Greenwood Chapel in Fort Worth.
Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth.
Visitation is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at Greenwood Funeral Home in Fort Worth.

Jerry was born Feb. 16, 1940, in Gainesville to the late Foy Lee and Alyne Chapman Springs.
He served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force from 1958 to 1966. Jerry began his career in 1966 with the U.S. Postal Service, where he served for 33 1/2 years. Jerry and Jackie were married for 53 wonderful years. Jerry was a loving husband and father and a doting grandfather. His family meant everything to him.
He was preceded in death by a son, Bradley Lynn Springs; stepmother, Margaret Maudine Springs; and a son-in-law, Roy Young.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie; daughters, Donna Young, Kim Ramsey and husband Bob; son, Jason Springs and wife Cindy; granddaughters, Brandi Burns and husband Cody, Sara Thompson and husband Quenton, Emily Young and Leah Schroeder and husband Charles; great-grandchildren, Skylar Burns and Jordan and Emily Schroeder; and many other extended family members and close friends.

BLANCHE WHITE
IRVING — BLANCHE WHITE, age 100, a resident of Irving for 40 years, formerly of Gainesville, Kilgore and Big Spring, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at a local care center.
Born Oct. 5, 1912, in Caldwell, she was the daughter of Anthony Hanser and Altie Loftis Hanser.
She married Leo L. White on Aug. 31, 1938. A homemaker, she was a member of South MacArthur Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2005; and by two sisters,
She is survived by two sons, Bob White and wife Priscilla of Carrollton and Mac White of Dallas; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and nieces and nephew, Alta Ayers and Gary Ayers of Longview and Vickie Bacon of Mesquite.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, 606 W. Airport Freeway in Irving with Fred Bacon officiating.
Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
WILLIS MARIE BLACKMOND
Funeral services for Willis Marie Blackmond, 93, of Gainesville, are set for 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at Meador-Clement-Keel Chapel with the Rev. Frank Lorne officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Blackmond died Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at North Texas Medical Center.
She was born May 24, 1919, in Sanger.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda “Tootie” Cambell of Sherman; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

RONALD R. MOORE
ALTUS, OKLA. — Graveside services for Ronald R. Moore, 81, are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at Navajo Cemetery in Headrick, Okla.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.
Mr. Moore died on Oct. 19, 2012, in Collinsville.
Ron was born in Monteith, Iowa, on Aug. 7, 1931.
Survivors include children, Jackie deBrito of Midwest City, Okla., Brent Moore of Amarillo and Misti Price of Collinsville; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

WESLEY PAYNE
SANGER — Memorial services for Wesley Payne, 60, of Sanger, are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at Highland Baptist Church in Denton, TX with Bro. Eddie Schafer officiating.
Mr. Payne died Oct. 14, 2012, in Gainesville.
He was born Oct. 30, 1951, in Beaumont.

Gladys Louise (LuLu) Henderson was born on March 27, 1953, in Gainesville to the late Leon and Willie Mae (Newberry) Hardin.
A wake will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at Muller Street Church of Christ, 808 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. in Gainesville.
Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Commerce Street Church of Christ, 602 N. Commerce St. in Gainesville.
