FAYE PERRIN

Funeral services for Faye Perrin, age 85, of Gainesville, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Gainesville.

Visitation is set for 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, also at the church.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Services are officiated by Rev. Hubert Wright and directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Muenster.

Faye “Memaw” Perrin went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012. She was surrounded by her family in the Renaissance Nursing Home before and at the time of death.

She was born in Denison on Feb. 28, 1927.

She attended and graduated from Denison High School. She was an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Gainesville and was a member of the choir there. She had worked in the vehicle registration department and tax office in the Cooke County Courthouse for some 30 years. She was a great homemaker, loved to cook and could always be seen caring for her yard.

Faye married Bill Perrin on Oct. 23, 1948, in Sherman. They were the parents of four children, Alan Perrin and wife Andra of Justin, Wallace Perrin of Gainesville, Bob Perrin of Gainesville, Diane Perrin of Gainesville and Susan Scott and husband Les of Saint Jo.

Her grandchildren are Brian and Jennifer Perrin of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Dana Perrin of Fort Worth, Kelli and Barry Hunter of Lindsay, Brad and Jacqueline Perrin of Boerne, Amber and Ralph Garcia of Gainesville, Nicole Scott of Gainesville, Brittany and Matt Bullis of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Jordan Scott of Saint Jo. There are 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Faye was preceded in death by husband, Bill Perrin; infant son, Bill Deuaine; two brothers, Doyle and J.D. Burkham; and a sister, Olean Simpson.

Pallbearers will be: Jordan Scott, Michael Perrin, Barry Hunter, Ralph Garcia, Brad Perrin and Jake Reynolds.

KENNETH JONES

VALLEY VIEW — Funeral services for Kenneth Jones, 67, of Valley View, are set for 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Harvey Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Jordan Johnson officiating.

Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home.  

Mr. Jones died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, in Valley View.

He was born Dec. 4, 1944, in Gainesville.

Survivors include sister, Lois Brown of Valley View.

Visitation is set for 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Harvey Street Baptist Church.
