A viewing for Maxine Morrison, 87, of Gainesville, is set for 6 to 8

p.m. Monday, April 23, 2012, at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home in

Gainesville.

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at the

Life Tabernacle Church in Cunningham.

Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Cunningham.

Maxine Morrison died Thursday, April 19, 2012, while a resident at

Pecan Tree Nursing Home in Gainesville.

Maxine was an Avon salesperson for 11 years in the Valley View and

Gainesville areas, where she made many, many friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents Nettie and John Geren; her

first husband, Malcomb Morrison; daughter, Karen; son, Burl; and her

second husband, Leonard Bugg.

She is survived by brother Alvin Geren, of Yuma, Ariz.; daughter,

Sharon Prague and husband Bill; son, Gary Morrison and wife Laura;

seven grandsons, Steve, Chris and Pat Morrison, Robert Prague and

Leslie, Michael and Kenneth Morrison; and several great-grandchildren.
