PHIL LEONARD

VALLEY VIEW — A memorial service for loving husband, father and grandfather Phil Leonard will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Leonard passed away March 1, 2013, at his residence in Valley View.  

He was born Aug. 24, 1932, in Winston Salem, N.C.  

Phil married Jan Thompson on June 6, 1959, in San Diego, Calif.  Mr. Leonard served in the Navy as a petty officer on the U.S. Colonial. During his time in the service he earned the National Defense Medal, Korean Service Medal and United Nations Medal. He had worked for Weber Aircraft as a machine operator, retiring after 27 years. Phil had also worked at Cooper Airmotives at Dallas Love Field. He loved collecting model electric trains, putting together die cast metal model cars, and reading western and espionage books.

Phil Leonard is survived by his wife, Jan Leonard of Valley View; daughters and sons-in-law, Donella Leann and Jay Sellers of Lindale and Leandra Annette and Robert DiNizola of Valley View; five grandsons; one granddaughter; and cousin, Robert Leonard of Chesapeake, Va.

EDNA GOSS

COLLINSVILLE — Funeral services for Edna Goss, 85, of Collinsville, are set for 10 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2013, at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro.  

Burial will follow in New Rest Haven Cemetery.

Mrs. Goss died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, in Collinsville.

She was born March 17, 1927, in Powderly.

Survivors include children, Mary Roy of Bastrop and Terri Haralson of Greenville; siblings, E.L. Smith of Dekalb, Ill., and Ruth Hutto of Garrison; and two grandchildren.

LUCILLE “DUSTY” HUTCHINSON

WHITESBORO — Funeral services for Lucille “Dusty” Hutchinson, 88, are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with the Rev. Tyrone Langford officiating.  

Burial will follow in Dixie Cemetery.

Mrs. Hutchinson died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, in Arlington.

She was born on Jan. 29, 1925, in Jacksboro.

Survivors include children, Shirley Black of Arlington and Sue DeShields of Fritch; siblings, Roberta “Bert” Williams and Della Mae “Johnnie” Smith; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is set for 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the funeral home.

JOHNNY LEWIS “BUTCH” MOORE


WHITESBORO — Funeral services for Johnny Lewis “Butch” Moore, 62, of Whitesboro, are set for 10 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2013, at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Eddie Chennault officiating.

Mr. Moore died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at North Texas Medical Center.  

He was born Feb. 15, 1951, in Gainesville.

Survivors include wife, Donna Moore of Whitesboro; children, Johnny Moore of Era and Kizzie Ohnmacht of Denton; sister, Tiuana Zacharias of Mineral Wells; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

PAT MARTIN WILSON

WHITESBORO — Funeral services for Pat Martin Wilson, 68, of Whitesboro, are set for a later date under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Wilson died Sunday, March 3, 2013, in Gainesville.

He was born on Oct. 4, 1944.

Survivors include husband, Charles Wilson of Whitesboro; children, Don Akins Jr. of North Dakota, Kay Price of Arlington and Tina Woolsey of Venus; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
