SHERMAN — Dalas Cunningham was born March 24, 1974, in Gainesville to Nicky and Rose Cunningham and passed from this life on Friday, July 5, 2013, in Sherman at the age of 39.
Dalas attended schools in Whitesboro. He worked several years at recovery in towing and repossession of vehicles. Dalas hobbies were fishing, bowling, hunting and going to the shooting range. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and living life to the fullest.
Dalas was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Bonnell Cunningham.
He is survived by his daughter, Carra Marie Cunningham of Sherman; son, T.J. Cunningham of Westminster; mother, Rose Mitchell of Gordonville; father, Nicky Cunningham of Pottsboro; sister, Lacey Ann Cunningham of Dallas; grandfather, Wilford J. Sicking of Muenster; grandmother, Anna Mae Downs of Fort Worth; special friend, Leaza Crowder of Sherman; and several aunts, nieces and uncles.
Visitation and viewing was Sunday, July 7, 2013, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Waldo Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Wanda Truesdell, 73, of Gainesville are set for Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at 10 a.m. in the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robert Kelley officiating with burial to follow in the Fairview Cemetery.
Wanda passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, in Gainesville.
Wanda was born on Sept. 7, 1939, in Gainesville to James Albert and Eula Brewer Owen.
Wanda married Richard “Dick” Truesdell on Nov. 19, 1955, and enjoyed 53 years of marriage and one of their favorite pastimes together was traveling. She worked for more than 15 years for Dr. Herzog and then graduated from nursing school, working at the Renaissance Care Center until she retired due to health problems. Wanda enjoyed helping and working with the Camp Fire program and for many years she taught 10th grade girls in Sunday School at Grand Avenue Baptist Church. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and she was a woman of great faith, leaning on her Lord through her many years of health issues and gaining spiritual strength through each difficulty and leaving a legacy of strong will and determination. Wanda truly loved her family and friends.
Wanda is survived by her sons, Scott Truesdell and his wife Brenda, Randy Truesdell and his wife Nicki and daughter Bonnie Schumacher; grandchildren, Charity, Amy, Michael, Travis, Brandon, Shaun, Delaney, Claudia, Chloe, Nicholas, Nathan and Catie; great-grandchildren, Ariana, Ava, Spyder, Shade and Ryleigh; sister, Nadyne Roberts; and brother, Gene Owen.
Pallbearers will be Brandon and Shaun Schumacher, Shamus Collins, Marcus Beam, Nathan Noller and Jeff Parker.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard “Dick” Truesdell; sisters, Bertha Ellen and Laura; and brothers, Marvin, Travis and J.T.

THERESA ANN TWEEDY
Theresa Ann Tweedy, 56, of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013, in Gainesville.
She was born April 1, 1957, in Pasadena, Calif.
Mrs. Tweedy was a registered nurse and could often be found working a jigsaw puzzle. She touched those around her with her strong and funny personality. Those closest to her know how Mrs. Tweedy was a very giving and caring person. She treasured her family and the moments she spent with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Tweedy leaves behind husband, Richard Tweedy of New York, N.Y.; daughter, Sara Tweedy of Gainesville; son, Shawn Crum of Tulsa, Okla.; daughter, Cherish Orduna and husband Mario of Gainesville; daughter, Tori Clark of Gainesville; sister, Terra Greene of Gainesville; and seven grandchildren.
