FRANK TERRY PLUMLEE
Funeral services for Frank Terry Plumlee will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010 at Callisburg Church of Christ with Ben Willingham, church pastor and nephew of the deceased. Visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m. Monday evening at Clement-Keel Funeral Home. Grandsons and nephews of Mr. Plumlee will serve as pallbearers
Frank Plumlee, 89, passed away Jan. 29, 2010 at Pecan Tree Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born Oct. 19, 1920 in Gainesville to William Barlow and Cassie Arlena (Stone) Plumlee. He was a truck driver and the owner/operator of T-Bone Construction and Trucking. Frank served in the CB’s, working in the reconstruction of air bases after the Pearl Harbor attack, including Pearl Harbor. He helped build the Alaskan/Canadian Railway (ALCAN Highway) then joined the U.S. Marines. While in the Marines, he served in the South Pacific on eleven different islands and was part of the consolidation of Solomon Islands, the Luson Operation and the Okinawa Operation. Frank loved to hunt mountain lions and bears in California. He was a member of Callisburg Church of Christ.
Survivors of Frank Plumlee are his sons and daughters-in-law, James and Shirley Plumlee of Redding, Calif., Frank and Andrea Plumlee of Okinawa, Japan, Paul Plumlee of Murphey, Mitchell and Sharon Plumlee of Battle Ground, Wash. and Scott and Sallie Plumlee of San Diego, Calif,; daughters, Helen and Waldo Simmons of Salinas, Calif. and Susan and Nathan Mayo of Paradise, Calif.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Thelma Thomason of Gainesville, Ruth McDonnell of Collinsville, Mildred and Sook Jasper of Stinnett and Billie June and E.W. Willingham of Gainesville and nineteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Cassie Plumlee; wives, Dorothy Griggs Plumlee and Vera Johnson Plumlee; brothers, Ralph, D.S., S.B., Scott and Bonner Plumlee; sisters, Geanie Plumlee Scroggins, Bessie Plumlee Westbrook, Jessie Plumlee Brickey, Ethel Plumlee Kammerdiener and Georgie Plumlee Tyler.

BILLY JOE “B.J.” TAYLOR
Graveside services for Billy Joe "B.J." Taylor, 77, of Gainesville, are set for Monday, Feb. 1, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, with the Rev. Todd Gray officiating. Services are under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
A visitation was held the evening of Jan. 31, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Taylor passed away January 29, 2010 in Corinth. Billy Joe was born in Cedar Hill on December 28, 1932 to Joseph Henry and Winnie Juanita Bosher Taylor. His friends called him B. J. and loved ones called him "Pop".
B. J. was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad in 1997 after 43 years.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Gaila Renee and Bill Coursey of Bridgeport, daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Joy and Bob Gilmore of Sanger; four grandchildren, Robert Hamilton, Amanda Duncan, Amy Jennings, and Seth Gilmore; two great-grandchildren, Jordan Taylor Hamilton and Lucas Ryan Duncan. He is also survived by a brother, Terry Wayne Taylor of Whitesboro.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

VALLEY VIEW — Services for Julia R. Ford, 85, of Valley View are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010 at Milburn Baptist Church. Services are under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home of Wynnewood, Okla.
Julia R. Ford died Jan. 29, 2010.

JAMES LEE HELTSLEY
VALLEY VIEW — A celebration of life for James Lee Heltsley, 69, of Valley View is set for Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010 at 5 p.m. at the Best Western in Denton in the Atria Hall. Services are under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Heltsley was born on Dec. 13, 1940 to James Lowell and Edith Cooksey Heltsley. James died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010 in Fort Worth.
Survivors include his sons, Richard Heltsley, Fred Heltsley and Mike Heltsley and daughters, Marjorie Mea and Tammy Heltsley.

GLENNA EUSTACE MABE
Memorial services for Glenna Eustace Mabe will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, 2010 at Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lonnie Dotson, Pastor of Shady Grove Methodist Church officiating. Services are under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mabe, 71, of Gainesville died Friday, Jan. 29, 2010.
Glenna Mabe was born Dec. 25, 1938 in Olney to Glen and Mildred (Peacock) Eustace. She married Ronnie Mabe Sept. 13, 1974 in Ardmore, Okla. She was a cashier at Sack-N-Save Store.
Survivors of Glenna Mabe include her son, Michael Eustace of Houston; daughter, Cindy Peevey of Gainesville; son-in-law, Delbert Peevey of Gainesville; granddaughter, Amelia Collins of Gainesville; grandson, Jonathan Peevey of Gainesville; granddaughter, Roni Collins of Gainesville; brother, Fred Eustace of Gainesville; sister-in-law, Lydia Eustace of Gainesville and aunt, Oneva Muse of Gainesville.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
BESSIE HUGGINS
MUENSTER — Funeral services for Bessie Huggins, 92, of Muenster are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010 at McCoy Chapel of Muenster with C.E. Cole officiating.
Burial will follow in Coker Cemetery in Cooke County. Services are under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home in Muenster.
Mrs. Huggins died Friday evening, Jan. 29, 2010 at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.
She is survived by her daughter, Georgia Doughty of Muenster.
Visitation is set from 1-2 p.m. on Feb. 2 at the funeral home.
GINGER GAYLE QUEZADA
DENTON — Memorial services for Ginger Gayle Quezada, 52, of Denton are set for 11 a.m. Friday Feb. 5, 2010 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Denton.
Mrs. Quezada died Jan. 23, 2010 at Denton Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her spouse, Alex of Denton; children, Chanelle and Marcus; parents, Tom Roberts Sr. and wife Mel, and Beth Sellers and husband John Sellers and siblings, Tom Roberts Jr. and Kim Roberts.

COLLINSVILLE — Graveside services for Harold E. “Gene” Williams, 76, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, 2010 at IOOF Cemetery in Norman, Okla. with Rev. Bobby Hawkins officiating. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.
Harold E. “Gene” Williams died on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Williams of Collinsville; sons, Steve Williams of Collinsville and David Williams of Denton; daughter, Sharon McCann of Nashua, N.H.; brother, Darrell Williams of Osawatomie, Kan. and sisters, Margie Voiles of Shawnee, Kan. and Judy Cripps of Houston.
