ROGER DALE OFFORD

DALLAS — Funeral services for Roger Dale Offord, 63, of Dallas are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at Clement-Keel Chapel with Rev. Joe Caballero, of Montague County Cowboy Church officiating.

Interment will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home.

Mr. Offord passed away Nov. 17, 2009 at his residence in Dallas. He was born in Gainesville on June 10, 1946 to Bill and Mary Rozella (Reed) Offord. He was employed as a Quality Control Manager for Hardie’s Fruit and Vegetables Co. in Dallas for 25 years. Bill was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Rozella Klassen of Forney and Kim and Rodney Neely of Bastrop; sons and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Ginger Soza of Bastrop, Monty Hill of Lake Tawakoni and Bryan Offord of Dallas; sisters, Barbara Calabrese of Shady Shores and Jana Williams of Chicago; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Melvin Leon Offord and a sister, Ima Jo Russell.

Pallbearers will be Ernie Rosales, Mike Wiginton, Brandon Burgess, Dale Logue, Chuck Ramirez and Gene Tipton. Don Offord, Sam Calabrese, Mark Calabrese, Ricky Russell and Kenneth Calabrese will be honorary bearers.

Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27 at Clement-Keel Funeral Home.





MAUDINE DAVIS SPRINGS

Graveside services for Maudine Davis Springs of Gainesville will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2009 at Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta, Okla. with Marion Bone officiating. Services are under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home.

Maudine Davis Springs passed away Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009 at North Texas Medical Center.

Maudine Springs was born in Pike, Okla. to Norton and Maggie (Bone) Davis March 30, 1925. She graduated from Marietta High School in 1943 then went to work for Santa Fe Railroad as an operator, working forty-three years. She married Foy Lee Springs in Gainesville. He preceded her in death Sept. 1, 1977. Mrs. Springs was a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ.

She is survived by a special niece, Carolyn Lauderdale of Denton; step-sons and their wives, Jerry and Jackie Springs of Fort Worth and Mike and Glenda Springs also of Fort Worth; six step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Janette Shaw and brothers, Troy, Claud Ray and Bill Davis.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dale Bone, Jerry Bone, Marion Bone, John Bone, David Davis and Lonnie Davis.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. this evening, Nov. 19, 2009 at Clement-Keel Funeral Home.





CHRISTINE MARIE LINN SMITH

MUENSTER – Funeral services for Christine Marie Linn Smith, 85, of Dallas, and formerly from Muenster, are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at McCoy Funeral Chapel in Muenster.

Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville. Services are under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009 at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas.

Survivors include her son, Loren Craig Smith of Denton.

No formal visitation is scheduled.





GENE RANDALL PEARCE

VALLEY VIEW — Memorial services for Gene Randall Pearce 46, of Valley View are set for Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at 3 p.m. in the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Chapel with the Reverend Don Yeager officiating. Services are under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Gene passed away on Nov. 17, 2009 in Denton.

Gene was born August 14, 1963 in Sacramento, Calif. to John and Carol Martin Pearce. He moved along with his family to Irving, Texas in 1974. Gene graduated from Irving Nitmiz High School. He loved animals, motorcycles and his family. Gene was employed as a Diesel Mechanic for Alan Ritchey Inc.

Gene is survived by his parents, John and Carol Pearce and brothers, Brian and Eric Pearce.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Valrie Pearce and Martha Tibbets.

TOMMY BEATRICE LEE

Graveside services for Tommy Beatrice Lee, 94, of Gainesville are set for 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009 at Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sunray.

Mrs. Tommy Beatrice Lee died Nov. 15, 2009 at Gainesville Health and Rehabilitation.

Survivors include her daughters, Vada Glascock of Valley View, Linda Stallings of Lockney, Sharon Thompson of Valley View and Julia Ainsworth of Del City and son, Jerry Lee of Sunray.

Visitation is set from 12-1:30 p.m. today, Nov. 19, at Morrison Chapel in Sunray prior to service time.
