LINDA KAY KIRKPATRICK

WHITESBORO — Funeral services for Linda Kay Kirkpatrick, 58, of Whitesboro, are set for Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Isham officiating.

Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Linda Kay Kirkpatrick was born Dec. 16, 1950 in Gainesville to Joe W. and Ethel Olena Shugart Kirkpatrick. Linda was a member of the Vilott Baptist Church and enjoyed Bible study with her close friends. She owned Kaylena Ranch and raised registered black angus cattle and was a member of the Red River Angus Association & the American Angus Association. Linda was a supporter of Noah's Ark Animal Shelter. She loved animals and whenever she saw a crippled animal, she would take it in, give it medical care and take it to the vet. She worked for the Richardson Police Department when she lived in Dallas and after resigning from the police department she obtained a real estate license and went to work for Remax where she went on to become one of the top real estate agents in Texas. She eventually left Dallas and moved to Bonham where she began her own real estate agency, LK Properties. Linda was a real estate broker for 28 years. Linda loved all of her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them when they came to visit.

She is survived by her father and step-mother, Joe W. and Cristina Kirkpatrick of Laredo; her sister, Rachel Kirkpatrick of Laredo, brothers and sister-in laws, Michael and Malex Kirkpatrick of Laredo and Jason and Mandy Kirkpatrick of Laredo; daughter, Marcy Lena Mejia of Ivanhoe; grandchildren, Danny and Lynetta Kirkpatrick of Whitesboro, Faye Ing, Cheyenne Mejia and Jr. Mejia all of Gainesville and her ex-husband, Jose Luis Martinez of Dallas.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Pallbearers will be Jason Kirkpatrick, Michael Kirkpatrick, Donnie Shugart, Ronnie Shugart, Ronnie Kirkpatrick and Charles Kirkpatrick.

Visitation is set for this evening, Dec. 1, 2009 from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

JAMES “JIMMY” ALEXANDER

FORT WORTH — Graveside services for James “Jimmy” Alexander of Fort Worth are set for noon Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2009 at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville. Services are under the direction of Rose Hill Funeral Home of Fort Worth.

James "Jimmy" Alexander passed away Friday, Nov. 27, 2009.

Jimmy was the son of the late Alan Gary Alexander and surviving mother, Linda Louise Feingold.

Survivors include his brother, Jeffrey Aron Alexander and wife, Lorrie; sister, Alese Ashford and husband, Allen; brothers, Jason David Feingold and Justin Alexander; sister, Jennifer Evans; Dave Alexander; and many nieces and nephews.

T. J. OWENS

MYRA — Funeral services for T.J. Owens, 77, of Myra will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009 at Clement-Keel Chapel with Rev. Eddie Ramsey and Rev. David Morris officiating.

Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery with military honors. Services are under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home.

T.J. Owens went to be with the Lord in heaven on November 28, 2009.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Joyce Owens of Myra; son, Randy Owens of Myra and brother, W.T. Owens of Fort Worth.

Visitation was held Monday evening, Nov. 30, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at Clement-Keel Funeral Home.





TOMMY EUGENE COGDELL

SAINT JO — Funeral services for Tommy Eugene Cogdell, 59, of Saint Jo are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009 at the Friendship Church in Saint Jo with Ronnie Hale officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mountain Park Cemetery in Saint Jo. Services are directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Saint Jo.

Tommy Eugene Cogdell died at 8:40 p.m. Friday at his home near Capps Corner.

Survivors include wife, Penny Annette Hacker Cogdell of Saint Jo; daughters, Brittany Nicole Hacker Cogdell of Saint Jo and Nevaeh Marie Hacker Cogdell of Saint Jo; son, Travis Lee Hacker Cogdell of Saint Jo; mother, Mildred Bishop Gilbreath of Denton and five brothers, Bill Cogdell of Denton, Danny Jo Cogdell of Gordonville, Jack Cogdell of Denton and Buford Cogdell of Denton and Larry Cogdell of Denton.

A visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Monday evening, Dec. 1, 2009 at the funeral home.





BARRY LYNN BIFFLE

A memorial graveside service for Barry Lynn Biffle, 47, of Gainesville, is set for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009 in the Reed Cemetery in Myra with Rev. Jim Goodwin officiating. Services are under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Biffle passed away Nov. 23, 2009 in Gainesville.

He is survived by his wife, Clarissa Alanso Biffle of Cebu, Phillipines; children, Lindsay Biffle and David Biffle; mother, Jeannie Biffle; brother, Chris Biffle; sister, Karen Barclay and brother, Brian Biffle.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Barry Lynn Biffle memorial fund at the First State Bank.

DALE JOE ROBISON

LOMPOC, Calif. — Funeral services for Dale Joe Robison, 77, formerly of Sanger, are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009 at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home in Gainesville.

Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Dale, a resident of Lompoc, Calif., died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at a hospital in Santa Barbara.

He was born Dec. 18, 1931 to Garland and Ethel Robison in Mountain Springs. Raised and educated in Gainesville, he met and married Bobbye J. Carr on Aug. 6, 1949. They moved to California later that year. He was a general contractor and a member of the Carpenter’s Union #150. He retired in 1976 and moved to his country home in Sanger where he enjoyed raising horses. During his retirement he and his wife enjoyed traveling. He returned to California in 2007. Dale was a member of North Avenue Baptist Church in Lompoc.

Dale is survived by his wife of 60 years Bobbye of Lompoc, Calif; sister-in-law, Shirley Clark of Killeen; daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Keith Ellis of Lompoc; son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Val Robison of Lompoc; six grandchildren, Kristi Crispin, Bobbi Ehrlich, Stephanie Robison, Mike Robison, Megan Robison and Trey Robison; three great-grandchildren, Taylor and Gavin Ehrlich and Alexis Crispin and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Robison in 1992 and a grandson, Jeff Robison in 2008.

Visitation for Gainesville was held from 7-8 p.m. Monday evening, Dec. 1, 2009 at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

The visitation for Lompoc, Calif. was scheduled for 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28, at the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the North Avenue Baptist Church.
