JEAN COFFMAN

Funeral services for Jean Coffman, 79, of Gainesville are set for 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Denison of First Baptist Church officiating.

Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home.

Jean Coffman died Dec. 14, 2009 at Ethicus Hospital in Grapevine.

She was born Aug. 26, 1930 in Pilot Point to Bedford Ira and Lily Mae (Cason) Stevens. She married Ralph Herschell Coffman Nov. 30, 1947 in Gainesville. She was a Homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Janis Coffman and Robert Good of Dallas, Dr. Donna Coffman and Dr. Kevin Allen of Colleyville and Elizabeth Coffman and Joe Cliburn of Bossier City, La.; brother, Bill Stevens of Amarillo; grandchildren, Jennifer and Richard Walker of Dallas, Paige Potter of New York, Morgan Potter Bossier City, La., Emily, Shannon, Savannah, Holly and Hannah Allen of Colleyville and great-grandchildren, Evangeline Patience Walker and Creed Coffman Walker.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Herschel Coffman and son, Jerry Ralph Coffman.

Visitation is set from 6-7 p.m. this evening, Dec. 16 at the funeral home.





JAMES WILLIAM “JIM” MURRAY

Funeral services for James William “Jim” Murray, 85, of Gainesville will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 18, 2009 at Harvey Street Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Crockett and Rev. Jordon Johnson, Pastor of Harvey Street Baptist, officiating. Services are under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home.

Mr. Murray passed away Dec. 15, 2009 at River Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Jim was born May 11, 1924 in Gainesville to Rodger Edgar and Roxie Mae (McKnight) Murray. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Tommie LaVera Martin Aug. 12, 1947 in Montague County. Jim was the owner and manager of a motorcycle dealership in Gainesville for 15 years. He also worked in sales for Brown Motor Company, Montgomery Ward and J.C. Penney. He was a member of Harvey Street Baptist Church.

Mr. Murray is survived by his wife of 62 years, Tommie La Vera Murray of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Bill W. and Nancy Murray of Greer, S.C.; grandson and his wife, John S. and McKenzie Murray of Greenville, S.C.; brothers and sister-in-law, Clifford and Carolyn Murray of Collinsville and Norman Murray of Gainesville; sisters and brother-in-law, Grace Vandergriff of Arlington, Beverly Norvell of Gainesville, Mavis Ogle of Fort Worth and Yvonne and Jerry Russell of Woodbine.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Carl Wade Murray; sisters, Alene Trani, Essie Stewart and Rheba Murray and brothers, Rodger Murray, Doyle Murray, Howard Murray and Bob Murray.

Pallbearers will be Jack Bryan, Rex Russell, Doyle Murray, Russell Faulkner, Kerry Johnson and Roy Gene Sillman.

Visitation will be at 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday evening at Clement-Keel Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Alberta L. Leaton, 53, of Gainesville are pending with the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.



JESSE CLODFELTER

Funeral services for Jesse Clodfelter, 79, of Gainesville are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009 at Clement-Keel Chapel.

Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home.

Visitation is from 6-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18 at the Funeral Home.





ANNA LOIS “ODELL” MCFADDEN

NOBLE, Okla. — Funeral services for Anna Lois “Odell” McFadden, 86, of Noble, Okla. and formerly of Gainesville are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009 at Clement-Keel Chapel with Rev. James R. Jackson and Jerry Elliott officiating.

Burial will follow in New Rest Haven Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home.

Anna Lois “Odell” McFadden died Dec. 12, 2009 at her residence.

Survivors include her step-daughter, Patsy Jean Allen of Gilette, Wyo.; sisters, Edris Scott of Marietta, Okla. and Ruth Monden of Noble, Okla. and brother, Alvin Odell of Gainesville.

Visitation was Monday evening, Dec. 15, 2009 at the funeral home.







DONALD J. HILLIS

A memorial visitation for Donald J. Hillis, 59, of Gainesville is set for Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at the Westminister Presbytreian Church. Services under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Hillis passed away on Dec. 10, 2009 at his home.

Mr. Hillis is survived by his daughters, Crystal and Amber Hillis and sister, Linda Hillis.
