JESSE CLODFELTER
Funeral services for Jesse Clodfelter, 79, of Gainesville will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009 at Clement-Keel Chapel with Rev. Hubert Wright, Baptist minister, officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Mr. Jesse Clodfelter died Dec. 15, 2009 at North Texas Medical Center.
Jesse was born Sept. 26, 1930 in Gainesville to Jesse L. and Opal (Prestage) Clodfelter. He married Raima A. Hoover on April 10, 1954. He was employed by Chevron Oil, working in production and safety training in the U.S. and overseas for 32 years before retiring. He was also involved in farming and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors of Jesse Clodfelter are his sons, Steve Clodfelter of Janelew, W. Va. and Kenny Clodfelter of Midland; grandchildren, Jacob Clodfelter of Midland, Eric Clodfelter of Midland, Allison Clodfelter of Northport, Ala. and Shauna Rodgers of Northport, Ala.
Preceded in death by his wife, Raima Clodfelter and parents.
Visitation will be Friday evening, Dec. 18, 2009 from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
ALBERTA L. LEATON
Funeral services for Alberta L. Leaton, 53, of Gainesville are set for Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Gethsemane Baptist Church with Pastor Todd Gray officiating. Services are under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
Mrs. Leaton died Dec. 14, 2009 in Missouri.
Mrs. Leaton is survived by sons, Johnny Leaton of Missouri and David Leaton of Gainesville; daughter, Christy Leaton of Gainesville and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Leaton was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Jean Leaton Jr. and three children, Billie III, Christina and Louise.

Funeral services for James William “Jim” Murray, 85, of Gainesville will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 18, 2009 at Harvey Street Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Crockett and Rev. Jordon Johnson, Pastor of Harvey Street Baptist, officiating. Services are under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Mr. Murray passed away Dec. 15, 2009 at River Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Murray is survived by his wife, Tommie La Vera Murray of Gainesville; son, Bill W. Murray of Greer, S.C.; brothers, Clifford Murray of Collinsville and Norman Murray of Gainesville and sisters, Grace Vandergriff of Arlington, Beverly Norvell of Gainesville, Mavis Ogle of Fort Worth and Yvonne of Woodbine.
Visitation will be at 6:30-8 p.m. this evening, Dec. 17, 2009 at Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
DONALD J. HILLIS
A memorial visitation for Donald J. Hillis, 59, of Gainesville is set for Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at the Westminister Presbytreian Church. Services under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll and Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Hillis passed away on Dec. 10, 2009 at his home.
Mr. Hillis is survived by his daughters, Crystal and Amber Hillis and sister, Linda Hillis.
