AARON MIMS

A graveside service with military honors for Aaron Mims, 73, of Gainesville, is scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Frank Lorne officiating.  

Services are under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Mims passed away Oct. 7, 2012, in Sherman.

Mr. Mims was born Jan. 1, 1939, in Gainesville to Aaron Mims, Sr. and Ada Grace Hendricks.  

He married Doris Johnson April 14, 1962, in Gainesville.  Mr. Mims was a telegraph operator in the U.S. Air Force.  He worked at Dowell Chemical for 15 years and later retired from Borden.

Survivors include wife, Doris of Gainesville; brother, Billy Don Hendricks of Gainesville; brother, Ricky Hendricks and wife Regina of Wichita, Kan.; brother, Jerry Hendricks and wife Carolyn of Gainesville; sister, Dorothy Johnson of Wichita, Kan.; sister, Janice Barlow of Wichita, Kan.; sister, Maurie Sadler of Dallas; godson, Kris Johnson of Carrollton; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Mims was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron Mims, Sr. and Ada Grace Hendricks; sister, Clementine Wilburn; brother, Willie Mims; brother, Charles Mims; brother, Gary Hendricks; and grandparents, Joe and Mable Mims.

Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Mims, Carl Mims, Clearance Johnson, Thomas Johnson, James Calhoun, James C. Lewis, Jr., Kris Johnson, Alfred Ray Bradley, Johnny Williams and Richard Johnson.

Memorials may be made to Corinthian Baptist Church.

IMAGINE GONZALES LOVATO

A graveside service for Imagine Gonzales Lovato, of Gainesville, is set for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Black officiating.  

Services are under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Imagine was born and passed away on Oct. 4, 2012, in Gainesville.

Survivors include parents, Rosa Gonzales and Jacob Lovato; brother, Marco Lovato; grandparents, Ben and Melinda Gonzales, Jason and Staci Lovato and Willie and Anitra De Jesus; great-grandparents, Imogene Kirk, Cecelia Lovato and Lavelle Ellison; aunt, Crystal Gonzales and her children; uncle, Benjamin Gonzales and his children; uncle, Michael Gonzales and his children; uncle and aunt, Cainan and Lilliana Lovato; uncle, Anthony Royal; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Woodrow Kirk.

KAREN JEANNE LAMPSON

Funeral services for Karen Jeanne Lampson, 73, are set for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Victor Cruz officiating.

Burial will follow at the Nelson Grove Cemetery in Woodbine under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lampson died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, in Gainesville.

She was born on April 19, 1939, in Kenosha, Wisc.

Survivors include children, Cassy Johnson of Whitesboro, Colleen Hellman and Karen Lampson of Lindsay, Kelly Lampson of Luella and Kathy Christian of Crestview, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

ROGER LYNN COLWELL

Memorial services for Roger Lynn Colwell, 59, of Gainesville, are set for 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at  Red River Christian Church in Gainesville with Bob Massey officiating.

Mr. Colwell died Friday, Oct.  5, 2012, in Gainesville.

He was born March 29, 1953, in Aiken, S.C.

Survivors include children, Deedre Hunt of Saint Jo, Alisha Taylor  of New Orleans, La., and Chance Tucker of Thackerville, Okla.; brothers, Bill Curtis Colwell of Colorado Springs, Colo., Jerry Lee Colwell of River Oaks and Michael Douglas Colwell of Gainesville; and two grandchildren.

DONALD LEE LANGSTON

Memorial graveside services for Donald Lee Langston, 68, of Gainesville, are set for a later date.

Mr. Langston died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Denton Regional Medical Center.  

He was born Sept. 23, 1944, in Gainesville.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Langston of Gainesville; children, Steve Langston, and Donnie Langston and Becky Bruce of Gainesville; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grand-children.

KATHY RENFROE

LINDSAY — Visitation for Kathy Renfroe, 64, of Lindsay, is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at Meador-Clement-Keel Chapel.

Mrs. Renfroe died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at Texoma Medical Center.  

She was born Oct. 3, 1948, in Graham.

Survivors include her husband, Tommy Renfroe of Lindsay; children, Justin Robert Renfroe of Gainesville, Cory Ray Renfroe of Atoka, Okla., Tiffany Dawn Renfroe of Hurst and Kristy Lynn Austin of Mansfield; and seven grandchildren.
