COLLINSVILLE — Funeral services for Edna Goss, 85, of Collinsville, will be held Friday, March 8, 2013, at 10 a.m. at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro.
Interment will follow the service at New Rest Haven Cemetery in Gainesville.
There will be no visitation services.
She passed away on March 6, 2013, in Collinsville.
Edna was born on March 17, 1927, to James Dudley and Metta (Bunch) Smith in Powderly.
She married William R. Goss on Aug. 5, 1946, in McAlister, Okla. She was a member of the Collinsville Church of Christ. She loved to read, sew and crochet.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Roy and husband, Wayne of Bastrop and Terri Haralson and husband Dana of Greenville; two granddaughters, Rebecca Crawford and husband Kevin of Lufkin and Danielle Haralson of Greenville; brother, E L Smith and wife Karen of Dekalb, Ill.; and sister, Ruth Hutto of Garrison; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dudley and Metta Smith; her husband, William Goss; and her brother, Lloyd Smith.

JOHNNY LEWIS “BUTCH” MOORE
WHITESBORO — Whitesboro resident Johnny Lewis "Butch" Moore, 62, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013, at North Texas Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 15, 1951, in Gainesville to Tony and Mary (Skaba) Moore.
He had worked as a mechanic for S&W Tractor for 30 years. Butch was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved to hunt, fish and work outside in the garden.
Funeral services for Johnny Lewis Moore will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2013, at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Eddie Chennault officiating.
Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, at the funeral home.
Mr. Moore is survived by his wife Donna Moore of Whitesboro; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Tonia Moore of Era; daughter and son-in-law, Kizzie and Terry Ohnmacht of Denton; sister and brother-in-law, Tiuana and Rudy Zacharias of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Courtney Mozingo of Gainesville, Tyler Moore of Era, Jonathan Moore of Era and Wyatt Ohnmacht of Denton and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, William, Tommy, Donald, Robert and Richard Moore.

ARLINGTON -- Funeral services for Jim A. Stanfill, 84, of Arlington, are set for 10:15 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Mr. Stanfill died Sunday, March 3, 2013.
He was born Feb. 28, 1929, in Henrietta.
Survivors include wife, Modell Stanfill; children, Michael Stanfill and Cynthia Simmons; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
