ROBERT EDWARD BALLEW
(May 26, 1936 - January 20, 2014)
Funeral services for Robert Edward Ballew, 77, of Plano, Texas are set for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at First Baptist Church, Gainesville, Texas.
Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
A reception for family and friends will be held at First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall following the burial.
Eddie passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 in Plano.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Jean Ballew; his mother, Gladys Huneycutt Ballew; his father, Buren “Buck” Ballew; and his brother, Wesley Ballew.
Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Pat Ballew; sister-in-law, Wanda Ballew; son and daughter-in-law, Gregg and Lisa Ballew of Plano; daughter, Denise Ballew of Alexandria, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law, Marla and Michael Ford of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Natalie Ballew, Davis Ballew, Lila Ford, and Colton Ford; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Rita Langley of Lake Kiowa, Texas; nephew, Jeff Langley and family of San Diego, California; niece, Cyndy Crider and family of Castaic, California; and many cousins and in-laws.
Eddie was born in Gainesville, Texas on May 26, 1936.
He graduated from the University of North Texas and married Peggy on March 31, 1957. After raising their family in Gainesville, Peggy and Eddie moved to Plano in 1988. He worked in the trucking and real estate businesses for many years while also traveling and enjoying time with his grandchildren. Eddie was a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church.

DONALD “JACK” CLARK
WHITESBORO – Funeral services for Donald “Jack” Clark, 72, will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., in the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas with Rev. Rick Carney officiating.
Interment will follow the services at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. All services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Homes in Whitesboro.
Visitation services will be held Friday, January 24, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
He passed away on January 21, 2014 in Denison, Texas at Texoma Medical Center.
Jack was born on April 12, 1941 in Tioga, Texas to Frances and Cora (Foster) Clark. He married Kay Young on June 24, 1961 in Tioga, Texas. He graduated from East Texas State University with a Master’s Degree. He taught agriculture for 32 years for Era ISD. He loved to travel, vacation, and go on cruises. He was a lucky man who enjoyed the casino. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. He was a mason. He was also of the Baptist faith. He loved his family. He touched the lives of many, many kids through his teaching.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Clark, of Whitesboro; grandchildren: Chase McCage of Callisburg; Hailey McCage of Long Grove, OK; great-grandchild, Brooklyn of Long Grove, OK; brother, Leon Clark, and wife, Deloris, of Ft. Worth; brother-in-law, Joe Young and wife, Carman, of Calera, OK; as well as five nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Todd Clark; and his parents, Frances and Cora Clark.
