Patsy married Johnny Barthold on Nov. 4, 1950, and together they had three children. She drove a bus for Era ISD and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Era, but her number one priority was her children and grandchildren, whom she enjoyed going to the lake and camping with. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Johnny; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Tricia Barthold of Valley View; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Randy Miller of Era; son and daughter-in-law, Frankie and wife Darlene Barthold of Era; and grandchildren, Cori, Chance, Abby, Bria, Tiffany, Shanda, Cason, Misty and Kristy. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Clarence “Dink” and Rose Hudspeth of Myra; and sister-in-law, Paulette Hudspeth of Dallas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Peggy Hammer; a brother, Daniel “Butch” Hudspeth; and a grandson-in-law, Steve Tucker.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Barthold, Brenda Miller, Frankie Barthold, Chance Barthold, Cason Miller and Canyon Ramsey.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Texas Baptist Men, Era Cemetery Association or Home Hospice of Cooke County.
