CURTIS CLYDE BOMAR

WHITESBORO —  Funeral services for Curtis Clyde Bomar, 83, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church of Whitesboro, officiated by Rev. Ken Hildebrand.

Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro.

Visitation will be at Meador Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013.

Curtis passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.

Curtis Clyde Bomar was born on Aug. 3, 1929 in Woodbine to J.D. and Ann Elizabeth (Temple) Bomar. Curtis married Evelyn Gaskin on Jan. 21, 1949 in Gainesville. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Whitesboro. Throughout the years Curtis also enjoyed coaching the Noon Optimist Club of Sherman Little League and he had just earned his 50 year membership pin as a member of the Whitesboro Masonic Lodge #263 AF & AM. He retired from IBM in 1991 after 34 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Bomar of Whitesboro; two sons, Terry Bomar and wife, Karen of Gordonville and Jerry Bomar and fiancée, Bertha Burns of Orange Grove; four grandchildren, Joni Jackson, J.C. Bomar, Rhett Bomar and Sarah McKinney; eight great-grandchildren and a brother, Gene Bomar of Gainesville.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Ann Elizabeth Bomar and a son, Gary Bomar.

Pallbearers will be; J.C.  Bomar, Jack Sanders, Bill Stofle, Channing Hickman, Leon Thornhill and Donny O'Dell.

DOLORES C. MORICI



LAKE KIOWA — A memorial service for Dolores C. Morici, 86, of Lake Kiowa is set for 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, at the Forest Lawn North in Pompano Beach, Fla. with Pastor Dwayne Marcum officiating.

Dolores C. Morici died Sunday, July 7, 2013, at her home in Lake Kiowa.

She was born in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, in 1926.

She is survived by her four children: daughter, Joseph, Herbert, Robert; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two nieces; a nephew; and a sister and brother-in-law.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bratcher Funeral in Denison.



DAVID WRIGHT



David Roberts Wright was born in Gainesville, Texas, on Sept. 9, 1955, son of Ona Roberts Wright and Edwin E. Wright, Jr.  

He attended Gainesville public schools, Cooke County Junior College, University of Texas, and graduated from North Texas State University with a BS degree in business and finance.

He was married 29 years to Crystal Renee Murray Wright and was the father to his pride and joy, Victoria Renee Wright.

David served his community through numerous years on the planning and zoning board and as long-time president of the Greater Texoma Utility Authority.  With the Kiwanis, he served in every leadership role and helped them raise money for charity with the annual radio auction.  He bought his first insurance agency at the age of 19, and became partners with his father in Wright and Wright Insurance.

He was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Gainesville, where he served as chairman of the board and as elder.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Ona Wright.  

He is survived by his wife, Crystal Wright of Gainesville; daughter, Victoria Wright of Fort Worth, father, Ed Wright of Gainesville; brother, Edwin E. Wright III and wife Josie of Dallas; aunt, Caroline Cunningham of Gainesville; aunt, Joy Craig of Fort Worth; cousin, Paula Roberts and husband Doyle of Gainesville; cousin, Allison Fuchs and husband Paul of Keller; cousin, Susan Laminack and husband Truman of Cypress; eight nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends, Glen Thurman of Gainesville and Larry Lewis of Lawton, Okla.

A memorial service for David will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at First Christian Church with the Rev. Mark Loewen officiating.  

A private burial will take place before the service at the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.  

No visitation is planned.

OPHELIA WILMA HITE



KELLER — Memorial services for Ophelia Wilma Hite, 96, of Keller, are set for 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, at Bethesda Community Church in Fort Worth with J. Daniel Smith officiating.  

Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at Este Cemetery in Lake Kiowa under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.

Mrs. Hite died Monday, July 29, 2013, in Keller.

She was born Dec. 20, 1916, in Bokhoma, Okla.

Survivors include children, Irene Paasch of Wimbledon, N.D., and Janet Hardin of Keller; siblings, Mildred Smith, Ruth Hooker and Grace Faulk; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation is set for 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, at Meador Funeral Home.

RICHARD “T-BONE” JOHNSON



CALLISBURG — Memorial services for Richard "T-Bone" Johnson, 57, of Callisburg, are set for 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at Callisburg Park.

Mr. Johnson died Friday, July 26, 2013, in Callisburg.

He was born July 8, 1956, in Gainesville.

Survivors include siblings, Greg Johnson of Callisburg, Michael Johnson of Tulsa, Okla., Kimberly Bruce of Oak Ridge.
