MARGARET LYDIA “MARGIE” STEVENS
WOODBINE, Maryland – Margaret Lydia "Margie" Stevens died in Woodbine, Maryland on April 19, 2014. She was born September 28, 1960 in Greeley, Colorado, the daughter of Eugenio and Manuelita Romero.
Margie had worked as a glass blower, welder's assistant and a contractor/renovator. Her hobbies included traveling, sports, art, and glass blowing. She loved playing Wii with her grandchildren and spending time with her family. Margie was full of adventure and she will be dearly missed.
Mrs. Stevens is survived by her husband of 26 years, Curtis Stevens of New York, New York; daughter, Kelly Jean Johnson; son, Harley Eugene Johnson; father, Eugenio Romero; brothers and sisters, Ray Romero and wife, Sharon of Denton, Roy Romero of Gainesville, Patsy Martin of Gainesville, Jean Romero of Gainesville, Diane Fisher and husband, Danny of Gainesville and June Vorhis and husband, Glen of Denton; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; mother-in-law, Sharon Mittenfelner; god-father, Onesimo Baca of Oakland, California, god-mother, Joann Jaramillo of Greeley, Colorado and many other extended relatives.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Manuelita Romero; brothers, Kelly Romero, Andrew Romero and Bernardo Romero and sister, Pauline Romero.
A private family service was held April 22, 2014.
Burial will be on June 14, 2014 in Maes, New Mexico at the Romero Ranch.
Funeral services for Ann Susanna Arendt Herr, 90, of Muenster are set for 10 a.m., Friday, April 25, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Muenster with Rev. Ken Robinson officiating.
Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Scott Funeral Home of Muenster.
Visitation is set for 7 p.m., Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Herr died April 18, 2014 in Muenster.
She was born September 10, 1923 in Lindsay.
Survivors include her daughter, Marlene Fisher; siblings, Lou Voth, LuElla Zimmerer, Marie Metzler and Joanie Bauer; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
