JAMES D. HAMMER
ROSSTON — Memorial services for James D. Hammer, 80, of Rosston, are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at Forestburg Baptist Church with Bill Kimbley officiating.
Mr. Hammer died Dec. 9, 2013, at home.
He was born Aug. 5, 1933, in Ravia, Okla.
He married Dorothy Sue Gilliland on Feb. 24, 1978. He served our country in the Korean War and is a lifetime member of the VFW. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Era and the Forestburg Baptist Church. He retired from Texas Instruments in 2000.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Sue Hammer of Rosston; children, Jeff and Kim Hammer, Leslie and Pat Cheaney, James R. (Rusty) Hammer, William (Bill) Hammer, Bradly Hammer, Rebecca and Robert Tear, Cindy and Mike Hankins and Brenda and Michael Booth; grandchildren, Lenzie Cheaney, Collin Cheaney Walker, Jessica Hammer Stone, Drew Hammer, Lauren Hankins and Amy Hankins; great-grandchildren, Cason, Reese and Cadin; siblings, Bonnie Robison, Robert (Pete) Hammer, Nolan Hammer, Tom (Butch) Hammer, Linda Bryant and Nancy Berry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Stella Hammer; and brother, George Hammer Jr.
Visitation is set for 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at Forestburg Baptist Church.

Peggy Tankersley, 72, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, in her home in Gainesville after a long illness.
Peggy was born on June 30, 1941, in Konawa, Okla., to Woodrow and Pauline Drain.
She was raised in Odessa and attended Odessa High School. She has lived in the Gainesville/Pottsboro area for over 30 years.
Survivors include her children, Linda Plant of Indianapolis, Ind., and C.B. Martin of Houston; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild. In addition, her brother, Loyd Drain of Cheyenne, Wyo.; her aunt, Edna Sears of Las Vegas; her uncle, Jimmy Drain of Oklahoma City; her aunt, Netta Goss of Oklahoma City; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and second cousins are among the survivors.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Judy Obiedo; and her brother, Vernon Drain.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, at Tecumseh Cemetery with the Rev. Clint Dawkins, pastor of Sharon Baptist Church in Shawnee, Okla., officiating.

SAINT JO — Funeral services for Gladys Kuzmicki, 84, of Saint Jo, are set for 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at McCoy Funeral Chapel in Saint Jo with the Rev. Ricky Kerr officiating.
Mrs. Kuzmicki died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, in Muenster.
She was born March 13, 1929, in Erie, Penn.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Bessent; and one grandchild.

WILLIAM OLIVER SKINNER
Graveside services for William Oliver “Buddy” Skinner are set for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Slay Memorial Funeral Center in Pilot Point.
Mr. Skinner died Monday, Dec. 2, 2013.
He was born Feb. 10, 1928, in Nocona.
