PATSY LORELLE REED HARDIN
Patsy Lorelle Reed Hardin passed into the Kingdom of her Lord on Wednesday morning, Oct. 23, 2013.
Recognized as a faithful and devoted servant, Patsy was a very active member in her church, St. Paul’s Episcopal in Gainesville. Through the church, her membership in Daughter of the King, and the Altar Guild, she provided many hours of church and community service for more than 18 years. Retired two years ago, Patsy was a dedicated employee of Tom Thumb for 36 years.
Born on March 13, 1938, in Whitesboro, she was a lifelong resident of the area around Whitesboro, Gainesville and Era.
Patsy is survived by her daughter, Marsha Griggs of Era; her son, Johnny Reed of Denison; grandchildren, Casey and Mark Mason of Era, Johnathon Reed of Denison, Tracy Reed of Dallas and Erin Reed of Gainesville; and great-grandson, Trevor Wagley of Era. She is also survived by her sister, Doris A. Geiwitz; niece, Geri B. Ray; and nephew Kurt A. Geiwitz and family, all of Spring Branch; and nephew, Martin W. Ray of New Braunfels.
Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Reed; parents, Minnie Viola Barnes and Luke Breeden; and son-in-law, Dave Griggs.
A memorial service will be held for Patsy on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at 10 a.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 415 East California St. in Gainesville with Father Jeff Stubbs officiating.
Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
Patsy’s wishes were that there be no visitation and in lieu of flowers donations may be made to her church, St. Paul’s Episcopal.

BARRY D. ALY
Funeral services for Barry D. Aly, 47, are set for 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at Waldo Funeral Home Chapel in Sherman.
Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Aly died Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, in Mesquite.
Survivors include his daughter, Emilee Aly of Dallas; and siblings, Teresia Teel of Collinsville and Misty Riddle of Dallas.

MARK ANTHONY BOWLES
DENTON — Funeral services for Mark Anthony Bowles, 56, of Denton, are set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Denton.
Burial will follow in Cooper Creek Cemetery under the direction of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Bowles died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, in Denton.
He was born on Oct. 26, 1956, in Denton.
Survivors include children, Brittany Bowles of San Francisco, Calif., Matthew Bowles of Denton and Zak Bowles of Grapevine; siblings, Sue Seibold of LIttle Elm, Shirlene Wright and Dennis L. Bowles of Sanger, Sally Davidson of Lorenzo, Mary Bowles of Denton and Steve Bowles and Harold Bowles of Era; and one grandchild.
Visitation is set for 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, in Liberty Christian School in Argyle.
