DAVID ANDERSON

WHITESBORO- Funeral services for David Anderson, 42, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Whitesboro with Rev. Mike Flanagan officiating.

Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening, Feb. 5, 2010 at the funeral home.

David passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.

He was born on April 6, 1967 in Amarillo to James Davis and Nanette (Cummings) Anderson. David married Leslie Mersho

Moore on Feb. 11, 1989 in Whitesboro. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Whitesboro and worked for Peterbilt in Denton.

Survivors include his wife, Leslie Anderson of Whitesboro; four daughters, Kaly, Kristyn, Bethany and Jamie D. Anderson all of Whitesboro; his father, Jim Anderson and wife Virginia of Sulphur, La.; four sisters, Leslie Neal and husband Tommy of Whitesboro, April Loewen and husband Mike of Whitesboro, Amber Anderson of Gainesville and Melanie Anderson of New York City, N.Y.; his in-laws, Glenn and Darlene Moore of Whitesboro; grandmother, Bess Cummings of Abilene and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Nanette Anderson.

Pallbearers are Daryl Jones, Mack Meador, Billy Schares, Ralph Vannoy, Brad Walsh, Bill Hayes, Jackie Mitchell and Rich Bateman.

GORDON SR.

Michael L. Gordon Sr., a resident of Gainesville, passed away February 2, 2010 at the age of 66. Michael was born January 3, 1944 in Towanda, Pennsylvania to John S. and Pauline Gordon. He is survived by wife, Gladys Gordon; mother, Alice Gordon; two sons, Michael L. Gordon Jr., and Michael S. Gordon; two stepsons, Tie and Tim Terry; one stepdaughter, Tracie; and 11 grandchildren. Michael Sr. was preceded in death by his father, John “Sarge” Gordon and by one grandson.

A Memorial Service was held Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 11 a.m. at VFW Post 1922 in Gainesville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to VFW Post 1922, Gainesville, Texas. KATHERINE WYATT STINE

WHITESBORO – Graveside services for Katherine Wyatt Stine, 87, will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas with Rev. Stephen B. Stine, son of the deceased, officiating. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.

Mrs. Stine died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman,.

She was born on July 11, 1922 in West Fork, Arkansas to William and Mary Elizabeth (Tustison) Wyatt.

Survivors include two sons, Rev. Stephen B. Stine and wife, Laurie of Tyler and Stuart Stine and wife, Sue of Slidell, La; a daughter, Stephanie Dickson and husband, Jerry of Whitesboro, two sisters, Jodi Tollefson of Turlock, Calif; and Mary Frances Carter of Fayetteville, Ark;

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Edward V. Stine.
