FRANCES JO TAYLOR
THACKERVILLE, OKLA. — Services for Frances Jo Taylor of Thackerville, Okla., will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, in the First Baptist Church of Thackerville with Rev. John Kinman, Robby Peyrot and Bro. Johnny Reed officiating.
Interment in Cottage Hill Cemetery, near Celina, will be under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Marietta, Okla.
Mrs. Taylor was born May 18, 1928, in Celina, the daughter of Ben and Linda Christian Lankford.
She passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at her residence at Thackerville at the age of 84.
A homemaker, Jo had been a resident of Love County since 1974, moving here from Irving. She and Charles “Bill” Taylor were married in McKinney on Sept. 4, 1944.
Her hobbies included playing games with her family, especially dominoes and cards and writing poetry. As a member of the Thackerville First Baptist Church she was involved in all activities of the church, particularly the nursery, hospitality and the card ministry. She was also active in the Senior Citizens group.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, B.R. Lankford; and sister, Betty Jean Holcomb.
She is survived by her husband, Charles “Bill” Taylor of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Steven and Jocelyn Taylor of Carrollton; three daughters and sons-in-law, Connie Lynn and Gordon Mize of Grand Prairie, Terri and Wayne Clark of Thackerville, Okla., and Tina and Johnny Reed of Shady Dale, Okla.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jim Langston, Chuck Edwards, Taylor Reed, Johnny Mitchenson, Tim Cannon and Ruben DeLaGarza.
Honorary bearers will be her “game girls.”
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Gerald Wayne Griffith, 70, of Gainesville, are set for 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Woodbine with the Rev. Kenneth Reiter officiating under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.
Mr. Griffith died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, in Denton.
He was born May 19, 1942, in Bowie.
Survivors include siblings, Shirley Fay Griffith and Matt Freddie Griffith of Gainesville, C. L. Griffith Jr., of Forestburg, Billy Joe Griffith of Panama City Beach, Fla., Sandra Kay Carrigan of Tioga and Paul Ray Griffith of Wichita Falls.

HELEN MARIE LAUGHLIN
SHERMAN — Funeral services for Helen Marie Laughlin, 89, of Sherman, are set for 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Mike Bentley officiating.
Burial will follow in Hall Cemetery in Howe under the direction of Meador Funeral Home.
Mrs. Laughlin died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, in Whitesboro.
She was born on Oct. 14, 1923, in Midlothian.
Survivors include children, Tommy Laughlin of Hempstead and Judy Rue of Whitesboro; brother, Jimmy Don McMillion; four grandchildren: eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation is set for 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at the funeral home.

RAYMOND DONALD SIEGMUND
FORT STOCKTON — Funeral services for Raymond Donald Siegmund, 88, of Fort Stockton, are set for 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at First Baptist Church in Fort Stockton with the Rev. Bob Schmeltekopf officiating.
Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home.
Mr. Siegmund died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012.
He was born Nov. 28, 1923, in Gainesville.
Survivors include his wife, Melba Jo of Fort Stockton; children, Eric Siegmund of Midland and Brent Siegmund of Fort Stockton; and siblings, John Siegmund of Denton; Martin Siegmund of Aledo; Alice Davidson of Muenster; Sally Bush of Arlington; Margaret Langford of Albuquerque, N.M.; and David Siegmund of Fernandina Beach, Fla.
