CARL “SCOTT” HUSTON
COVINGTON, GA. — Carl “Scott” Huston, 51, of Covington, Ga., passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at Vitas Hospice and Patient Care in Stockbridge, Ga.
Services are still pending.
Scott was born July 23, 1961, in Latrobe, Pa., to John Carl and Norma Jean (Kloock) Huston.
He grew up in Denton. Scott had a passion for lighting and sound in the music industry and theatrical world. He graduated from DeVry Institute of Technology in Irving as an electrical engineer. He was always jovial in life and he loved his family and daughters.
Scott is survived by his two daughters, Savannah Laurinne Huston and Autumn Jean Huston, both of Snellville, Ga.; and their mother, Francine Regina Huston, also of Snellville; a sister, Amy Jean Huston Newton of Gainesville; and two nephews, Carl Lane Newton and Wyatt Cole Newton of Gainesville.
He was preceded in death by his son Cory; his parents and grandparents, Roy and Carrie (Hammil) Huston of Uniontown, Pa.; and Edna Ruth (Weaver) Kloock of Greensburg, Pa.

JOHN WICKER
Gainesville resident John Wicker passed away Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at Denton Regional Hospital at the age of 65.
John was born May 16, 1947, in Gainesville to John Curry Wicker Sr. and Doris Laverne (Buffington) Wicker.
He was a Gainesville High School graduate, attended Texas A&M University and received an associate's degree from Cooke County Junior College. John was vice-president of Boss Glove Manufacturing for thirteen years and also worked for Nocona, Justin and Tony Lama Boot Company. He loved football and auctions and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec, 27, 2012, at Meador-Clement-Keel Chapel with Dr. Bennie Slack Church, pastor of First Baptist Church Montague, officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Wicker, Ryan Wicker, Ryan Schell, Cody Cartwright, Rusty Cartwright, Dwight Hill, Adam Wicker and William Baker.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
John Wicker is survived by his wife, Shirley Wicker of Gainesville; children and their spouses, John Carroll and Ronnie Wicker of Gainesville, Christopher Evan Wicker and Christy Fritz of Gainesville and Wendy Dawn and Jonathan Kramer of Garland; brother, Jimmy Wicker of Dallas; sister, Lorie Cartwright of Valley View; and grandchildren, Jonathan Wicker, Ashley Schell, Ryan Wicker, Eric Schell, Ryan Schell, Kirk Kramer, Nate Kramer and Madeline Kramer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jerry Wicker.
