Gainesville — ESTBAN HERNANDEZ

A funeral mass for Estban Hernandez, 68, of Gainesville, is set for 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Reehan officating.

A rosary will be recited followed by visitation on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at 7 p.m. at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

He passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, at his home.

Estban was born on March 1, 1946, in Vincente Guerreo, Oro, Mexico, to Eutimo and Margarita Aldaba Hernandez.

He is survived by his wife, Celia Hernandez, his mother, Margarita Aldaba; children, Gumercindo, Josefina, Maura, Cansopcion, Ryfin, Diego, Verconica, Grasiela and Juan Manuel Hernandez, all of Gainesville, and Paulina Hernandez of Mexico; also brothers and sisters, Pamfilo, Julio, Damasio, Paz, Maria Lupe, Tamasa, Carlota, Natalia and Elana Hernandez; grandchildren, Priseilla, Kevin, Amanda, Sherlyn, Ruben, Chon Jerry, Juan Carlos Aurura, Samantha, Javier, Esmeralda, Daniel, Laura Hernandez, Spancer Vann, Annie and Staphine Eltman, Ivin, Alexis and Gregorio Elanias, Joann and Michael Romo, Norma, Aracli and Ruben Barrientos; and great-grandchildren, Deanna Rodriguez, Hugo Gonzalez, Jameah and Milliana Mitchell and Sofia Vann.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eutimo Hernandez.

NELSON J. ZANCHETTA

ERA — A visitation will be held for Nelson J. Zanchetta, 69, of Era, from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

Mr. Zanchetta passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, in Muenster.

Nelson was born Nov. 27, 1943, in Baltimore, Md., to Victorio and Maria Bernardi Zanchetta. 

He married his sweetheart, M. Colleen Alderman on Oct. 15, 1966, in Baltimore, Md.

Mr. Zanchetta enjoyed doing anything as long as it involved working with his hands.  He had numerous hobbies that he loved, including shooting and reloading, fishing, painting and flying R/C airplanes.

Nelson is survived by his wife of 47 years, M. Colleen Zanchetta of Era; sisters, Mary Jane and Alba; grandchildren, Narinda Milburn and her husband Andrew and Zach Zanchetta; and great-grandchildren, Sophia, Isaac and Addy.

Mr. Zanchetta was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Richard Nelson Zanchetta; his two brothers, Victor and Floyd.

THOMAS EDWIN BASS

FLOWER MOUND — Memorial services for Thomas Edwin Bass, 92, of Flower Mound, are set for 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at First United Methodist Church in Gainesville.

Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. 

Mr. Bass died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013.

He was born March 29, 1921, in Hopewell, Miss.

LISA ANN FLEITMAN

MUENSTER — Funeral services for Lisa Ann Fleitman, 33, of Muenster, are set for 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel in Muenster with the Rev. Ken Robinson officiating and 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at Comyn Baptist Church in Comyn with Ray Seckinger officiating.

Burial will follow in Comyn Baptist Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fleitman died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, in Gainesville.

She was born Dec. 28, 1979, in Dublin.

Survivors include husband, Matthew Fleitman of Muenster; children, Quentin Warren Peacock and Collin Anthony Peacock; parents, Don and Carolyn Blanton; and siblings, Diana Kay Carroll and Jan Murphy.
