Lindsay superintendent resigns for job in Argyle school district

ARGYLE — The decision of Lindsay ISD’s top administrator to resign was made final Wednesday night.
According to a press release from Argyle ISD, during a special called meeting Wednesday night the Argyle ISD Board of Trustees approved a contract for the employment of Dr. Jason Ceyanes as the superintendent of schools.
Ceyanes said in a statement he plans to remain in Lindsay ISD until May 31.
He said he begins his new position in Argyle on June 1. Argyle ISD is a 3A school located south of Denton on U.S. Highway 377.
