Calvary Baptist Church
We are a church of broken people living for a loving, just and merciful God. No matter what background you come from, inside our building, we are all sinners saved by grace.
We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45, where the dress is casual, with a relevant Bible message, and the music is a blend of hymns and contemporary praise. However at CBC we acknowledge that worship is much more than the songs that we sing or the music we play. It is a life lived daily that brings glory to the Father and can be expressed in many ways, such as reading His Word, prayer, giving, preaching, life on mission, and spending time alone with God daily, to just name a few. The important aspect of worship is that our heart and mind are honoring and lifting up God in a way that He is the center of our lives. We hope to see you Sunday.

Birthdays and anniversaries
At GABC, we celebrate birthdays because they represent life, a precious gift from God. We also celebrate anniversaries because they represent marriage, which was blessed by God in Genesis. We wished Kevin and Lynda sandmann, Jon and Suzanne Carpenter. Jane and Larry Pool a happy anniversary.
Rick Collett and Richard Hughes took up the offering while Suzanne Carpenter played “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing” on the grand piano.
Bro. Bill Black's sermon was from Matthew 21:1-11, often called the triumphal entry. Jesus came into Jerusalem riding on a donkey. Some of the Jews had pictured their Messiah on a white horse, as a symbol of victory. But on a humble donkey Jesus was fulfilling the prophecy made about him. In fact, Jesus fulfilled all 63 prophesies in the Old Testament. He was received with joy as people spread their garments on the road for him. But within a week he would be crucified. The religioud leaders of his day refused to recognize Jesus. What about us?
Keven Sandmann gave the benediction.

Psalm 25:4-5 says, "Show me thy ways, O Lord, teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day."
A person will never have to look back and wonder where they went wrong if this path is followed. Please take time to ponder your life and the lives of your children. It does not matter where you have been but where you are going! God will forgive all and love all. John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
