Vilott Baptist Church News

All over the world people are making plans for the celebration of the birth of Jesus. Vilott Baptist Church will have both a Christmas Eve Service and a Sunday morning service. There are so many activities going on right now; we need to stop and remember what this season is really about, the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

When Jesus was born, the angels appeared to shepherds keeping watch by night. They proclaimed the birth of the Savior singing praises to God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men." Luke 2:14 (KJV)

The Thursday morning small group meeting will be suspended for the month of December. All other services are the same.

Sunday morning fellowship meal at 9:30 a.m.

Sunday school at 10:00 a.m.

Worship service at 11:00 a.m.

Evening worship at 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday evening fellowship meal at 6:30 and small group meetings at 7:00 p.m.

The Wednesday evening service is divided into  several groups for Bible study and prayers. There is something for all.

What a wonderful time to be a Christian! While the economic outlook is bleak and folks are concerned about getting through the holidays without spending too much money, Christians can still celebrate with abundant joy. We’re celebrating the birth of our Savior, and the economy has nothing to do with that. At Vilott we get to celebrate every time we get together because we know Who holds our very lives in His hands. Won’t you come celebrate with us?

Rick Isham our pastor will share the message God has laid on his heart. Call 940-665-1629 for more information.
