Gainesville Bible Church

At Gainesville Bible Church we worship, love and obey the God of scripture. Why scripture? Because we understand that God has chosen to reveal Himself through His Word – 66 books of the protestant bible. And because we believe this “bible” to be the Word of God, we believe the bible to be:

•  Inspired (God’s very words given to the human authors by His Holy Spirit)

• Inerrant (Absolute truth – no errors)

• Infallible (Absolute truth – no lies)

We also believe the bible (God’s Word) to be the absolute authority for faith and practice for all people of all ages.

If you are like-minded, we would invite you to worship and grow with us at Gainesville Bible Church.

Vilott Baptist Church

When we plant a seed in our gardens we expect multiple returns. We water and weed and till and wait for the results. We work at it knowing we will be rewarded. Our Christian life is the same. Go plant the seed of fellowship, and call your friends. Invite them to join in the bounty of harvest. Look around in church Sunday to see who is missing. Call them and ask how are they doing; let them know they are missed. Do your part in keeping the church full and serving the Lord. We ask this question, Where does your neighbor go to church?

The newness of spring should remind us of the changes we need to make in our Christian Life. We put away the old things and walk in the right way or new way for us. God gives us this instruction in the book of Colossians chapter three.

The Bible studies we are doing on Wednesday evening are helping us become closer to the Lord and have a good time doing it. Come join with the adults praying and learning. You are never to old to improve your walk. What better way to fellowship than around the Word.

Vilott has the doors open and something available for all. It is up to the individual to take a stand. Stop and do something right in your own heart. Get back to God and His Word. Wrap yourself in it. It will protect you and give you peace only if you use it.

Our church serves the Lord all over the world through missions both at home and abroad.

Weekly Schedule

Sunday morning starts with a fellowship meal at 9:30 a.m.

Sunday School starts at 10 a.m.

Song service and worship starts at 11 a.m.

We sing praises unto the Lord and our Pastor Rick Isham brings God's message.

Wednesday evening services begin with a meal at 6 p.m.

At 7 p.m., the children and youth have a great time of Bible study and fun, and the adults have Bible study and prayer meetings.

Thursday morning small groups start at 10 a.m. with Bible study followed by a meal.

A person is never too old to serve the Lord in some fashion. There is no excuse not to do something to worship the Lord. John 4:23 says, "The hour cometh and now is when true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeketh such to worship Him."

Pray for America each and every day.

If you need transportation or just want to talk to our Pastor Rick Isham, call 940-665-1629. Vilott Baptist Church is located on FM 678 right in the curve northeast of Callisburg.
