Vilott Baptist Church News
If you want more out of your church life, put more into it. God's work is like anything else in life—the more effort you put in, the better you understand it. We should all be doing as much as possible with our time and money.
We cry to the Lord when we are scared of life and its problems. He hears our cries and answers our prayers. We have so many examples at Vilott of this. We rejoice and sing the praises to our Lord.
For those of you who attend on a regular basis, the question is how long has it been since you invited someone to join you at church? God compels us to seek out others and share the Gospel. 18Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV)
Vilott has the doors open and something available for all. It is up to the individual to take a stand.
Stop and do something right in your own heart.
Our church serves the Lord all over the world through missions both at home and abroad.
Sunday morning starts with a fellowship meal at 9:30 a.m.
Sunday school starts at 10 a.m.
Song service and worship starts at 11 a.m.
We sing praises unto the Lord and our Pastor Rick Isham brings God's message.
Wednesday evening services begin with a meal at 6 p.m.
A person is never too old to serve the Lord in some fashion. There is no excuse not to do something to worship the Lord. John 4:23 says, "The hour cometh and now is when true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeketh such to worship Him."
If you need transportation or just want to talk to our Pastor Rick Isham, call 940-665-1529. Vilott Baptist Church is located on FM 678 right in the curve northeast of Callisburg.
