You are welcomed to visit or join the First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville under the direction of the Rev. John Hare at 401 S Denton at Church St.

Adult Sunday School is at 9 a.m.

Church services are at 10:30 a.m.

Children’s Sunday School is from the sanctuary after the Children’s Sermon.

The NCTC meal is at 6:30 p.m.

June Sherrill will host at her house the “Better Together” small group at 7 p.m.


Choir practice is at 7 p.m.

Annual Congregational Meeting

The Annual Congregational Meeting will be on Sunday, Feb. 3.


VISTO requests dry pinto beans & rice.  All donations are accepted.

Callisburg United Methodist Church

You are invited to attend the Callisburg United Methodist Church at 123 Oscar Cole Street in Callisburg, Texas.  Each Sunday morning our Sunday school begins at 10:00 a.m. and church services begin at 11:00 a.m.  The love of God will greet you at the door.


 Each Sunday afternoon Confirmation classes are held from 4 to 6 p.m.

Each Wednesday afternoon after school KFC is held in the Fellowship Hall

The Women’s Group began again on Wednesday, January 23rd at 6:00 p.m.

 A short Trustees Meeting will be held after church on Sunday, January 27.

Our church is located in downtown Gainesville  just east of the Cooke County Courthouse at 415 E. California St., Gainesville, TX 76240  Fr.Jeffrey Stubbs, SSC, Rector

8 a.m. Said Mass (Rite 1)

9 a.m. Choir Practice

9:30 Adult Sunday School

10:30 Eucharist (Rite 1:Choral

Sunday Evening:

6 p.m. Seekers Service- all currently not affliated with a home church and                                                  interested in learning more about the Bible, God and enjoying some interesting                                                  conversations and fellowship are invited to attend

Wednesday Evening: 6:00 p.m.Rosary

6:30 p.m.Mass, Book Study and fellowship.

Thursday mornings:

9:30 Mass and Book Study.

This Sunday  St. Paul's Annual Meeting and covered dish will be held following 10:30 services.

 We invite you to come visit St. Paul's and join us in praising and enjoying the living God, as we give glory and thanksgiving to our Creator and show kindness to one another, and take a tour of one of Gainesville's oldest Church's, come join us in the Parish Hall following the services and enjoy a cup of coffee and conversation.   • Men's group Church to start new ministry

    Gainesville Westminster Presbyterian Church, deeply entrenched  as part of the  community since 1946, is stepping out in faith by reaching out through a new ministry beginning Jan. 27 entitled “Men’s Accountability Network” (MAN). The ministry is designed to provide encouragement and support to men who aspire to build stronger relationships with God and family.

    The Callisburg United Methodist Church is located at 123 Oscar Cole Street in Callisburg, Texas and you are invited to attend the services which begin each Sunday at 10 a.m. for Sunday school and 11 a.m. for church.
