Chelsie Cloer added a point and Erika Sappington finished with three assists and three steals for Valley View.
“We played a really good first half, especially considering we saw some things defensively we hadn’t worked against,” Lady Eagles coach Jeff Purcell said. “The second half we played too tenatively, and that’s probably my fauly in making the girls too cautious. This was a very good win to start the season.”
