Era wins at Bland tournament

— Era High School tennis team attended the Bland tennis tournament on March 20-22.
Boys and mixed doubles competed on Thursday. Girls competed on Friday and championship matches were on Saturday.
Nicholas Seay won fourth place in boys singles. Kacy Copeland won fourth place in girls singles.
Zach Dennison and Carlee Black were the consolation champions in mixed doubles. They lost to 2A Van Alstyne 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 in their first match to send them to the consolation bracket.
They won against 2A Caddo Mills 6-2, 6-4, won against Bland 7-6, 6-2 and won the championship match against 2A Howe 6-4, 6-4.
