Sacred Heart players make all-state team

— The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches have named Sacred Heart Tiger sophomore Kevin Kulle and Sacred Heart Tigerettes senior Lauren Creed, junior Samantha Wimmer and sophomore Kristin LeBrasseur to their 2008 All-State Dream Team.
"This is a great honor for these players and their teams," said Coach Jon LeBrasseur. "Coaches around the state have recognized the skill level of these players." "The Tigerettes have always gained some recognition for their play and now the level of play of the Tigers is gaining some respect."
Kulle was the Tigers leading scorer, Creed was the Tigerettes leading rebounder, Wimmer was the Tigerettes all-everything point guard and LeBrasseur led the Tigerettes in scoring. The Tigers completed the season with a 17-12 record and a district championship. The Tigers were knocked out of the playoffs, in a barn-burner game, by Desoto Canterbury who went on to the State Finals. The Tigerettes completed their season with a 30-5 record and advanced to the state championship game before falling to Sherman Texoma Christian.
