Muenster bests Jacksboro

JACKSBORO — The Muenster Lady Hornets improved to 6-2 on the season with a 67-45 win over Jacksboro Tuesday night.

The Lady Hornets were down 24-22 at the half after scoring just 3 second-quarter points. The Muenster offense turned it on the third quarter, scoring 27 points while holding Jacksboro to just 6 points. The Lady Hornets kept their foot on the pedal in the fourth quarter, scoring 18 points to help get the win.

Leading the way for Muenster was Demi Koelzer who scored 20 points. Lia Heers added 13 points while Taylor Klement scored 11. Other scorers were Shaina Felderhoff and Jackie Klement with 6 points each, Lana Heers with 5 points, Delana Rohmer with 4 points and Leaha Smith with 2 points.



Sacred Heart 58

FW Calvary 42

FORT WORTH — The Sacred Heart Tigerettes notched their seventh win of the season with a 58-42 win over Fort Worth Calvary Christian Tuesday.

Sacred Heart led 34-22 at the half and coasted in the second half with 24 points for the win.

Kristin LeBrasseur scored 20 points and added 7 steals while Karli Anderle scored 13 points and nabbed 8 rebounds.

Mikayla Bartush also hauled in 8 rebounds and added 2 points. Raynee Hogan scored 9 points, Rebekah Hesse and Sydney Hoedebeck scored 6 points and Kelsey Reeves scored 2 points and had 4 assists in the win.

Sacred Heart’s win improves them to 7-1 on the season.



Alvord 46

Lindsay 39

LINDSAY — The Lindsay Lady Knights came up short to the Alvord Lady Bulldogs 46-39 at home Tuesday.

Megan Caillier led Lindsay with 14 points, 4 steals, 4 assists and 5 rebounds.

Jessica Block scored 9 points and 5 rebounds while Katie Dieter scored 6 points, 3 rebounds and blocked 3 shots.

Other notables were Cammi Neu and Kristin Martin who each scored 4 points. Martin also had 7 rebounds and 7 blocks in the loss. Also, Allison Metzler chipped in 2 points.



Saint Jo 41

Chico 50

CHICO — The Saint Jo Lady Panthers dropped their first game of the season 50-41 to Chico Tuesday.

Kyla Reeves had a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead Saint Jo.

Ashley Dennis finished with 6 points and 3 rebounds while Jessica Ramirez scored 4 points with 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. Haley Hall finished with 4 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal and Kara Davis scored 3 points, had 3 boards, 5 assists and 1 steal in the loss.

Saint Jo plays in the Thackerville, Okla., tournament beginning Thursday.
