LINDSAY — The Lindsay Lady Knights improved their district record to 10-1 on Friday by defeating the Forestburg Lady Horns by scores of 25-13, 25-12, 25-14.

This brings Lindsay’s overall record to 27-11.

For the Lady Knights, Brenna Mlinar had 4 aces, 3 digs and 31 assists; Alyx Ethington had 2 aces and 7 digs; Kristin Martin had 2 aces, 16 kills, 2 blocks and 4 digs; Cammi Neu had 2 aces and 4 kills; Kaylee Murphree had 4 aces, 10 kills, 4 blocks and 6 digs; and Rose Hermes had 4 kills.

Lindsay will host Saint Jo on Tuesday with the freshmen beginning at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity and then the junior varsity.

Collinsville downs Saint Jo

COLLINSVILLE — The Collinsville Lady Pirates volleyball team swept the Saint Jo Lady Panthers 26-24, 25-8, 25-17 in a District 11-A match Friday.

The win improves Collinsville’s district record to 9-2, while Saint Jo falls to 5-6.

For the Lady Pirates, Maddie Voth had 12 kills, four aces and one block; Brooke Swindle had 33 assists, one ace and one dig; Samantha Blakely had 10 kills, five aces and two blocks; Whitney White had five digs; Chelsea Petska had three kills and one dig; Kalia Delka had three kills, two blocks and one assist; and Sarah Kamphaus added three kills, one ace and one assist.

Collinsville will travel to Trenton Tuesday.

Whitesboro falls to Argyle

ARGYLE — The Whitesboro Lady Cats lost to the Argyle Lady Eagles 25-20, 25-19, 25-18 in a District 9-3A volleyball match Friday.

For Whitesboro, Kortney Beebe had eight kills, five digs and one block; Evan Beste had seven kills and one block; Jill Schuessler had three kills, seven digs and one block; Logan Tallent had one kill, 13 assists and four digs; Jennifer Williams had one kill and two digs; Rachael Stringer had four digs; Brittany Davis had three digs and one block; Krista Hitt had three digs; Brooke Wilson had two digs; and Becca Winter added one dig.

The Lady Cats (18-14 overall, 3-4 district) will travel to Celina Tuesday.
